The best things in life come In Due Tide, and this is the updated Rodanthe beach house you've been waiting for. This semi-oceanfront cottage offers easy access to the beach, incredible views and all the comforts of home. Recent upgrades include hardwood flooring, renovated bathrooms and a brand new kitchen. Situated on a half-acre lot on a quiet cul-de-sac, this dog-friendly home offers plenty of space for your fur babies to play, along with the convenience of an enclosed dog run. Getting to the beach couldn't be easier using the boardwalk just 420 feet from the house.

After a day of sun, sand and surf, come back to the house and gather in the comfortably furnished great room with a fabulous ocean view. This bright and airy, open-concept space features vaulted shiplap ceilings for a modern beach house vibe. The living area leads directly out to an expansive, ocean-facing sun deck where you can enjoy the salty ocean breezes and the sound of crashing waves. Back inside, the chef in the family will appreciate the updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and bar seating. Serve meals indoors or al fresco on the screened porch with picnic table. End the night with a relaxing soak in the bubbly hot tub before heading off to bed. Bed and bath linens are always included at no extra charge, and the beds will be made with fresh sheets and pillowcases prior to your arrival.

The town of Rodanthe is the first stop south of the Bonner Bridge - the ideal setting for a laid back, slower-paced vacation while still having conveniences and dining options nearby. If you need a break from the beach, take a trip back in time at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Museum. Reel in the catch of the day from the Hatteras Island Fishing Pier, or enjoy the other side of the island with a variety of watersport activities in the Pamlico Sound.

Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay.

"Check in was easy with keyless entry. The house is spacious, well kept, and was very clean. The appliances were modern and easy to use, kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Very nice location with views of the ocean from the deck plus easy access to the beach. Our family and dog really enjoyed our stay."

"La mer était parfaite! Assez proche pour pouvoir venir dîner à la maison et assez loin pour ne pas stresser lors des hautes marées. La maison était propre et bien rangée. Les couverts et les accessoires de cuisine étaient tous disponibles et en quantité suffisante. Prévoir apporter vos propres chiffons, essuie-tout, et papier de toilette. Aussi, il n’y avait du savon à lave-vaisselle que pour une fois. Laveuse à linge et sécheuse très pratique pour les longs séjours."
