"Village Realty associates are informative, courteous, and expedite requests. We've used Village previously and have no complaints about this agency. The homes however are only "top-cleaned," but that's to be expected when the cleaners are given only 4 hours or so to clean these large homes thoroughly. This home, Wine Down in the Currituck Country Club area, was well appointed with dishes and glassware but not too much of it matched, and all of the drawers and cabinets were packed full and unorganized. But this is a home that we rented and occupied for only one week, so I guess it's not so much of an issue for a short time. We made do quite nicely! Having said that, we would rent this home again because of its location, views, pool, and overall layout. It's rather expensive for a one-week rental in mid-August (but aren't they all??) but compared to where we live in NJ it's a great deal. That is why we continue to make the 9–10-hour drive and come back to OBX for great family vacations."

"We found this lovely home on the beach and booked it right away! We went in the beginning of April so the cost was more affordable for us. The home is well equipped with anything you may need to cook for your family and friends. I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of cooking utensils and appliances available. The hot tub was great as well. We loved being able to walk down the steps and across the walkway to the beach whenever we wanted. The triple bunk bed room was perfect for my two young children. There is a bathroom in between the bunk room and a queen room where we stayed. It worked perfectly for us in case the kids got up in the middle of the night. The only complaint we have is that the bottom floor (where we stayed) seemed to be damp then dry, then damp. We ended up getting stuffy from our room but our kids were fine. So, we are not entirely sure it was the room. We felt better when we were up and around for the day."

"My family and I had a wonderful vacation in September here! The property was beautiful, so so nice to have a house big enough for all of us, and the convenience of the elevator was amazing! Also, the close proximity to the beach, and the views of the ocean from our top deck were truly wonderful. The house was well furnished, and we all enjoyed spending time together, which is hard as we all live far from one another. A wonderful week spent making amazing memories I will cherish forever!"

"As an experienced renter in the Outer Banks. I have used quite a few of the local agencies. Among the best is Village Realty. Although we had a little hiccup in the beginning of our trip, they couldn’t have been more accommodating, and responsive. The house was clean, beautiful inside with gorgeous views! Close to everything. The hot tub was wonderful and beach access was super easy! Parking multiple cars in a long driveway took a little figuring out but nothing to stop me from renting again! I absolutely loved being able to find out any information I needed about the property with a text message from the staff without having to be directly in touch with the owner of the property. Our TV was having trouble connecting, and someone came out to fix it that day. They even brought our trashcans up for us and took them back, put chemicals in the hot tub for us to make sure it was working properly. We will absolutely be booking again with Village Realty.
