"We stayed at Shell's Shack for the first time and had a wonderful time! The house was in great condition and very well equipped with furniture, games, and kitchenware. The new poolside serving area and cabana are a great touch. The house is close to many amenities in Corolla so there's not much need to go down to Duck. The only negative was that some of the outdoor plastic chairs are in need of replacing. Two broke when we sat on them, so they should be reviewed and some replaced. But all in all, a wonderful stay!"

Love the access to the beach and listening to the waves every day. Check-in/out was simple and easy, everything was ready for us when we arrived and the condo was perfect. "As always, the stay at the Outer Banks was just wonderful. I never want to leave. Dealing with Village Realty was wonderful. Village is very professional, courteous and responsive from reservations, cottage details, and communication. Village is a pleasure to work with for your trip. We had a WiFi issue which was resolved very quickly and professionally. During the challenging time of so many properties and most companies being short staffed, it was truly appreciated. We really enjoyed the house. I have rented this cottage in the past and it is a great property to enjoy the view, it is comfortable and love that it is pet friendly. The backyard fence is a big plus. There is an area on the front of the fence that does not go all the way to the ground which was of concern for our smaller dog. I was always with the dogs when they were in the back yard and I was able to find a way to block the hole so she would not get out into the front street side of the property. I would suggest that be taken care of for the smaller dogs to be safe. I know sand washes and sand blows and I suspect that is how there was an area that didn't go all the way to the ground. Once I fixed that, the dogs romped and played and enjoyed themselves and let me know they definitely want to visit Surf's Up again. A wonderful trip!! Thanks for everything!"

"We stayed at Roller Coastal in Nags Head and it was spectacular!! The home was as pictured and very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved all the extras like the cooking pans and utensils. The elevator made life a breeze when carrying in groceries and luggage instead of climbing the 3 flights of stairs. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely return. This is our 2nd trip booked with Village Realty and ready to book our 3rd trip. The beach was a very short walk to the public access. Safe and quiet area. Check-in and check-out were super easy and the home was ready on time! We appreciated the text message letting us know when it was ready, housekeeping did a wonderful job getting the home ready for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"We stayed at barefoot bliss through village realty and it was perfect for our family! It was clean and spacious and it had a yard for our daughter to play ball in. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook meals and it was a quick drive to the beach. You could walk but you’d have to cross a 4 lane major road. I just wish we could leave stuff behind like trash bags or hand soap or stuff that we didn’t use all the way for the person that stays after us! We can’t wait to go back next year!"

"The house was great and in a great location. Close to everything. The house had pretty much everything needed for a large crowd. 2 dishwashers and 2 washer/dryer combos! Foosball and pool in the game room were a plus. The fridge in the kitchen has a broken drawer and door pull. the dining room chairs are a little wobbly! i think there could be better window coverings in bedroom 7, the room never gets dark. Pool heat being offered would be a plus. But really, nothing really bad about the house. we stayed a week and had a great time!"

"A big shout out to Village Realty for helping us find the perfect rental for our family vacation. We had originally selected a different house but when Ocean Pearl became available they were accommodating and allowed us to change our reservation. Ocean Pearl was just beautiful. We loved the decor, the proximity to the beach, the pool, and pretty much everything about the house. The kitchen was just so well equipped it made food prep a breeze, the bedrooms were laid out in a thoughtful way and we liked having all the master suites for our group. The shared spaces were perfect for gathering. The decks were great spaces to relax on the swing or hammock, to soak up some sun on the top level and be poolside on the lower level. Also the advantage of being steps away from Food Lion and Timbuktu (especially Uncle Buck's) was a bonus. Our grandkids loved seeing all the turtles in the various ponds, in Buck Island, on our daily trips to the playground and basketball court. Much appreciation to Village Realty also for answering our frequent questions about our rental and helping us to prepare for our vacation to the best of our ability. We will definitely be using them again."

The Currituck Club is an impeccable and friendly resort, extending to the beach trolley, beach concierge, and beach snack shack. You can’t miss Outer Banks Boil Company for amazingly fresh seafood boil pots; Seaside Farm Market for fresh veggies, seafood, pies, and ice cream; Broken Plate Kitchen for to-die-for shrimp and grits, bbq wings, and luxurious milkshakes; North Beach Watersports for parasailing and other water adventures. This was a week we’ll never forget!!"
