"Th pet-friendly home we stayed in was lovely! It truly would be the beach house I would love to own! Perfect size, and ability for a large family to be comfortable in. We were in Duck for my daughter’s wedding and the location in Sanderling community was perfect. I would definitely look to stay here again should I travel to Duck! The beds were super comfortable! I can’t say about pillows as I always bring my own when traveling. Linens and towels are supplied. The home was well appointed and comfortable. Of course being on the beach with walkway access was the best feature! The management company responded same day to a broken toilet issue. They did not address the broken wine cooler (could not change temperature at all and it stayed on 11degrees) and I hope they reported it to the owners. The changes I would suggest is that every bathroom have toilet paper and soap available upon arrival, the kitchen have paper towels and dish soap available. This is basic needs that prevents someone who just traveled all day to get there not have to get back in the car to go to the grocery store same evening. The home was in good shape, light switches labeled (thank you!), had small appliances one needs to cook or make cocktails and smoothies. We did have difficulty with the internet. The windows need cleaning, but we enjoyed the view from outside!!! Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"We stayed in Stinson Ranch and the home itself is amazing, but the customer service from Village Realty was outstanding. We’ve rented through many of the rental companies in the outer banks from Kill Devil Hills all the way down to Frisco, and Village Realty is by far the best all around. I highly recommend them for your next stay!"

"We travelled to the Outer Banks in mid March on a timeshare exchange. The timeshare was old, needed a total update and our view was a parking lot. We called Village Realty in a hurry, told them we needed a place immediately, gave them our budget and within an hour they were back to us with four places to preview in person. We narrowed the choice to two based upon location (direct unimpeded waterfront view) and they gave us keys to preview on our own. Two hours later we had moved into a beautiful, totally done up waterfront single family home directly on Kitty Hawk sound with a view to die for. We stayed for twelve days (would have stayed longer but work at home called) and we have booked this gorgeous place for three weeks next year (even cancelled our plans to stay in Hilton Head in 2023 to do this.) Thanks to Village Realty and their superb staff for turning a disaster into a treasured memory in under two hours and for providing full follow up during our stay. Less than a year until our return to Kitty Hawk. Hurray !!"

"This is our second year staying at Zane’s Beach House through Village Realty. The house was ready to go on time and has a keyless entry, making check in and check out super easy. The location is perfect- right on the beach just steps from the ocean and a few miles from many restaurants and stores. The house is clean, updated, and has many personal touches to make it feel like home. We also appreciate that they are pet friendly! Both times we’ve visited have been in the winter, so we haven’t been able to utilize the outdoor spaces much, but we are just as happy to curl up and enjoy the amazing view. We hope to be able to visit again the summer someday so we can take advantage of the tiki bar, grill, and outdoor couches after a day spent at the beach."

"Village Realty did a great job managing our booking and stay. They were very responsive to any concerns and had great communication channels (email, text, guest portal). Our rental unit (Surf’s Up) was well maintained and clean - just a few areas in need of some TLC, but nothing inoperable - just some cosmetic touch-ups needed. All beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great. We fully used the ground floor game room on our rain day, and barely needed to leave that floor thanks to the games, tv, fridge, and bathroom on that level. Access to the beach is convenient too, and you could even (carefully) walk to the Black Pelican if you’re game! A great stay for our party of four plus our two, four legged friends. Thank you!"

"very responsive and easy to work with in finding the best vacation rental property. We got a late start in planning and the folks at Village stayed in communication as we narrowed our choice. The maintenance and cleaning staff were excellent and the house we rented was great for the family. We had one issue and it was resolved promptly. We used Village as our property management company in the past and they were always prompt and courteous. Our rental property and all of the others we stayed at have been great. After bad experiences with several other outer banks rental companies in the past, Village was by far the most customer friendly."

They showed us a few options on their website and the description and photos matched our expectations. The condo was very clean and super comfortable. The covered decking was our favorite place to hang out - and December highs in the 60’s allowed a lot of deck time. Can’t wait to stay here again."

"We had a great time. Will rent with Village Realty again, and likely the same property. The beach house in Kill Devils Hill was amazing. The property was clean and spacious. We stayed in December, so the pool was closed, but we used the hot tub. The property had just about everything we needed with regards to a fully-equipped kitchen. I just wish there were some champaign flutes and pitchers. I also wish there were some beach chairs available for use. We got some beautiful weather in December, and it would've been nice to have a couple beach chairs available. Village Realty was great with giving me updates via email and text messages. We had an electronic lock, so check in and out was a breeze. They were also responsive to an issue we had. Will recommend to friends and family."
