"We just got home from our first trip to OBX. We ended up renting from Village Realty when we found our unicorn - private pool, walking distance to beach, pool table, putting green, and pet- friendly. I have crazy anxiety and the renting process was perfect for me. I rented online. I paid online. All correspondence was done thru email and text. Check in was keyless code. House was as described. I get nervous and sick to my stomach even calling in an order and this was an absolute breeze. We will use Village Realty next time we vacation in OBX."

"Village Realty was able to help us find a last minute rental after our original rental fell through. The home "Beachin' at Boomer's" was beautifully appointed and an easy walk to the beach. Plenty of room for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. Large yard for the dogs. The 3 bedroom home had 2 baths and a loft with an additional bed. Would be great for small families or 4 couples who don't mind sharing bathrooms. Would stay there again."

"I called a few times prior to check in with questions and everyone was always very helpful. I had Amazon packages sent to the Corolla office in advance of our arrival and the two women working were friendly and welcoming. The house was nice, great location, the deck area could’ve been cleaner. They came and checked on the pool and hot tub mid week which was nice. After checking in someone stopped by to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything. Would rent with them again!"

"We did a mother/daughter trip and it was the first time for all of to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed the Outer Banks and Z's Retreat. It was very clean, beds were very comfortable and more than enough space for the 4 of us. Private parking at the beach was a nice perk. Village Realty was really easy to work with and got back with all questions we had very quickly. Would definitely use them again for our next trip to OBX."

"We had a wonderful family vacation week in Corolla this August in a very comfortable, well stocked home. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and screened in porch and had a lovely view of Crystal lake with a shaded back yard. We had an easy walk to the beach and enjoyed all the bike paths and fun things to do in Corolla. Overall, one of our best vacations ever! Village Realty was great to work with and very attentive to our needs."

"Five adults, four kids under 10, and a baby stayed in the rental. There was plenty of room, pool and hot tub cleaned midweek, and clear, consistent communication from Village Realty leading up to and throughout our stay. We couldn’t figure out how to turn our showers on. I submitted a maintenance request at 11 pm, someone was there by 9 am to help us out. Luckily, we didn’t anything the rest of the week but I’m confident we would have been taken care of quickly and sufficiently if we had."

"We stayed at Kara's Sandcastle this past week (July 31 2022 to August 7 2022). The house was very well cared for, it was clean, there was everything that you would think (dish soap, hand soap, clean towels, even beach chairs and carts to pull stuff to the beach.) The house is dog friendly (though we left our dog at home), very close to the beach, shops and food stores. We had a minor hiccup with the entry code and Village Realty resolved that in less than 10 minutes after I texted them. The check in and check out process were both very quick and easy, I just texted them that we were leaving and that was it."

"We just had an amazing trip staying in Northern Corolla! We had an issue with the bunk beds in the house when we arrived. The team that answered the phone was awesome, the maintenance team was on property, and addressed the issue well. Things won't always be perfect, but the sign of a great company is how quickly they resolve issues as they come up. Our house fit our needs perfectly. We fished the lake, walked to the beach, enjoyed the pool, and loved the Catina and Corolla BBQ! We are ready to book again for next year! Thank you Village Realty!"

However, we are very disappointed to find out that for the 2023 season, they will be doubling or even tripling their prices. We will not be able to pay these fees and will have to look elsewhere."

Also, we book same week every year and they called in advance to let us know this place wouldn't be available our normal week because owners wanted to use it. They gave us multiple options for another week and allowed us to book early."
