"Very accommodating and clear communication with the rental company. They answered all questions very quickly. Pictures on the website of the house we stayed in were 100 percent accurate. Our house was perfect for 4 adults and 5 kids. Everyone had plenty of space and their own bathroom. 1 block from the beach was perfect to make for a quick walk. Beds were very comfortable. The area feels very safe. Nice flat area for walking and jogging. The horse beach is only 5 miles away. If I could change anything it would be that the pool was open- our Maine kids thought it was warm enough to swim in a pool! We stayed 4/16-4/22. I would advise planning ahead to order groceries- we did insta-cart when we arrived. It didn’t arrive until almost 11pm. Otherwise everything was perfect and would definitely stay there again. Coffee on the large upper deck was our favorite part of the morning!"

"Wonderful week on the Outer Banks at Nag's Head. This was our first OBX visit, and our cottage was perfectly positioned for our family. With teens, the short walk to the beach was so easy, and we were only a short drive from all the attractions we wanted to visit. Could not have asked for a better location. Our cottage was just perfect - lovely and clean, with a super-cute beach vibe and every amenity we needed. Comfy beds, everything in tip-top working order, and with a bedroom for everyone we never felt crowded. We look forward to staying here again!"

"The entire rental process with Village Realty was great. We paid the deposit, paid the remainder on time, they communicated regularly to let us know how things were going up to check-in, and they were quick to respond to any questions once we were checked in. We love the Outer Banks, and will be visiting more and more ... and Village Realty will be our number one go-to for rentals. Did I mention that they are pet friendly and military friendly? A HUGE plus. Our rental was only .2 mi from the beach, and we could see and hear the ocean from our balconies."

"We have rented through Village Realty on two different occasions. Their homes are wonderful to rent and we have recommended them to others looking to visit the Outer Banks. The house we stayed in this spring was extremely well appointed. It is a bonus that the homes come with linen packages, so that means less that you have to pack! They are an easy company to work with and after you make a reservation you are provided with a link to the site that has all the information you could need. If you can't find an answer to your question through your personal reservation, then you can easily call and talk with a person who will help. I highly recommend renting through them."

"My Family stayed at the Park Place in OBX. The Home was very large and fit my family perfectly. It needs updating. Had some problems throughout the week. Village Reality was great. Did what they could To fix the problems. The walkway to the beach needs to be redone/fixed, nails up so had to make sure everyone had good shoes on. Need a push button door lock on first floor entrance. Was happy it had an elevator being I am recovering from a broken leg but was not able to get in till the second floor. Thankfully I was able to walk the one floor to get into the house! Still all in all was a great time! Great area, great shopping, great restaurants!"

"The unit itself was FANTASTIC. It was larger than we expected, the views were outstanding, the furniture comfortable, the amenties awesome. It was the little things that really stood out though: sun blocking curtains in the owner's bedroom for those wanted to sleeep. Grocery carts in the garage for us to use to bring up our stuff; we made it in one trip! The kitchen was fully stocked; we only had to run the dishwasher twice because there we so many glasses, plates, etc. We ate in all but two of our meals, please note: bring ALL your spices, even salt and pepper. This is our second time with Village Realty and we could not be happier. The unit was very clean and the communication with their staff was excellent. There was one issue reported by the people who rented the unit the previous week and Village Realty told us when the maintance crew would be arriving and what to do in case we were out. We will definitely rent with Village Realty (hopefully in this unit) in the furture."

"Have stayed with village realty for three years. Very responsive, pleasant staff. Maintenance comes right over to address repairs or any issues. With the high turnover rate of these vacation rentals, they do a good job of having the house ready upon arrival and try to address concerns promptly."

"a. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, and pans. b. Whenever we called your offices – got very pleasant contacts from you folks and more than ready to be helpful. c. Maintenance crew was always helpful when called. Also, good folks to work with. d. We were allowed to check out other options for Thanksgiving 2022 and April (2 weeks 2023) . . . going inside to see what the place looks like really helped! So, we booked with you in the future. The team at the Corolla office was very pleasant and upbeat."

"The house we rented was better than pictured! The house was very clean and everything was kept up nicely. A very well manicured walkway to the beach and in a great location in Nags Head. Everything about the house met or exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be renting this place again. The pool could have been a little cleaner but it was chilly so we didn't swim much. Every time we have rented with Village it has been outstanding!"

"Th pet-friendly home we stayed in was lovely! It truly would be the beach house I would love to own! Perfect size, and ability for a large family to be comfortable in. We were in Duck for my daughter’s wedding and the location in Sanderling community was perfect. I would definitely look to stay here again should I travel to Duck! The beds were super comfortable! I can’t say about pillows as I always bring my own when traveling. Linens and towels are supplied. The home was well appointed and comfortable. Of course being on the beach with walkway access was the best feature! The management company responded same day to a broken toilet issue. They did not address the broken wine cooler (could not change temperature at all and it stayed on 11degrees) and I hope they reported it to the owners. The changes I would suggest is that every bathroom have toilet paper and soap available upon arrival, the kitchen have paper towels and dish soap available. This is basic needs that prevents someone who just traveled all day to get there not have to get back in the car to go to the grocery store same evening. The home was in good shape, light switches labeled (thank you!), had small appliances one needs to cook or make cocktails and smoothies. We did have difficulty with the internet. The windows need cleaning, but we enjoyed the view from outside!!! Thank you for a lovely stay!"
