The location of our home was perfect and the pool was an extra bonus with 2 little ones who can easily tire from a day at the beach. There are attractions galore on the Outer Banks (Jockeys Ridge, Manteo, Alligator Reserve, Elizabethan Gardens, Ashleys Expresso…oh…and Ice Cream choices galore (!)…but the absolute best thing to do is vacationing in a beautiful place and being with your family! "The Raven's Nest was a wonderful house to rent for our vacation. The balconies wrap around the house giving you multiple views of the ocean and ocean view. The location was so convenient to shops, grocery stores and restaurants. The bedrooms had plenty of room. The master bathroom was awesome. The other bathrooms made it nice as there was one on each floor making it great for young children. The kitchen, dining and living area were so spacious. The backyard being fenced in made it perfect for our dogs to run and enjoy themselves. So we all got to relax. Plus there was an outdoor shower great for us and the pups. The walk to the beach was short which was perfect for us old people and the young ones too. We even got to participate in the loggerhead turtles being born. The water was delightful."

"The house was clean, well stocked, comfortable and a great location. Gorgeous views from the deck for sunrises ans stars at night. Brewery by the Currituck club on the way home from the beach a perfect stop. Lots of options close by for wave runners and pontoon boats. You can golf Currituck club or Holly Ridge and then shop in Duck or Corolla. This was our second year and we were not disappointed."

"We enjoyed a great week at Coop's Cottage in Duck, NC and the communication from Village Realty throughout the process was excellent, and included both email and text updates before, during , and following the rental period. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom, the location was perfect - right on the ocean and not crowded on the beach. We also liked that the air conditioning worked great and the house was well stocked with all the essentials in the kitchen, had a great selection of books to choose from, and had really cool beach themed artwork throughout the house. Can't wait to return to the Outer Banks next summer!"

"We had issues with the pool maintenance but that wasn’t their fault. The contractor the house was using was MIA. So they sent a different pool company out and billed the owners. They had good communication and easy instructions."

"This was our second year renting with Village Realty. They were very helpful in accommodating our needs. We can’t wait for next year! We stayed in Heaven on Seven in Currituck Club both years. This house is perfect for our family and we plan to rent this one again next year. The trolley pick up is at the end of the driveway and the beach valet makes hauling all of our stuff to the beach a breeze! It’s minutes from the grocery store and countless restaurants. And one of my favorite things- this home has two dishwashers! Makes taking care of our big crew so much easier.Thanks for the great memories, Village Realty!"
