Description

Looking for the perfect rental for your family vacation or getaway? Look no further! This 5-bedroom, 4 and a half bath beach house, with bonus outdoor shower, can sleep up to 12 guests comfortably. Located in the center of everything, you will be equal distance from the beach to the sound to shops to restaurants and other amenities.

Start your day with a round of Pickleball in our gated community, then grab your towel and head down to the beach for some sun and fun! After a long day on the beach, cool off in your own private pool while listening to your favorite tunes. After dinner, stroll over to the sound for a magnificent sunset, then stop at the local shops for some ice cream before retreating to the hot tub to gaze up at the stars.

On the ground floor you will find the private pool area, hot tub, gas grill and outdoor speaker system. This area also includes an outside shower. Walk inside to the recreation room to enjoy some foosball and TV. This floor also includes a bunk room that sleeps 4, a queen sleeper sofa and a full hallway bathroom.

Walk up the stairs to the mid-level and you will find a den with a TV and a nice sitting area, a primary bedroom with a queen bed and a suite bathroom. Another bedroom with a TV shares a hall bath with a room with two twin beds and a TV.

Making your way to the top floor, enjoy a magnificent meal in the well-appointed kitchen and dining area. Relax in the great room watching TV or sit on the front deck with a nice book until the sun goes down. The bonus floor ship’s watch features games, books, and a beautiful panoramic view.

The amenities include a private, unheated pool, a hot tub, WiFi, eight TVs, book library, games, one and a half refrigerators, a wet bar, foosball, and an expanded parking area. Fresh linens and towels are included. Baby items include a Pack n’ Play and a highchair. Beach access is a short walk and includes three oceanfront pools, lighted basketball, shuffleboard and volleyball courts. Additional community amenities include outdoor tennis/pickleball courts, a sound side pool, a sound front pier, an indoor sports center with an eight-lane lap pool, two racquetball courts, two indoor clay tennis courts, an exercise/fitness gym, a 12-person spa and locker rooms with saunas. Guests can enjoy reduced green fees at the Currituck Club. Corolla light is a private community that requires guests to wear wristbands to access community amenities. The HOA offers trolley services from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Things to know:
•No pets are allowed at this vacation rental. No smoking/vaping.
•Parking notes: there is free parking available for 5-6 vehicles.
•Guests have access to the Corolla Light Recreational Amenities. Guests are instructed to pick up their resort information and amenity bracelets on the first day of their reservation at the Corolla Light Sports Center located at 1026 Ocean Trail, Corolla, NC 27927. Your check-in time is not until 4:00 PM, but you can take advantage of the resort amenities as soon as you retrieve your information from The Sports Center, as early as 9 am on your scheduled check-in day.

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO Village Realty in writing. In case of cancellation, all monies will be refunded less a 150 cancellation fee if you cancel 31 or more days prior to arrival. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations within 14 days of arrival will not be subject to a refund.

I absolutely loved staying at Soak Up the Sun 7 in Corolla! It’s the perfect spot for a beach vacation—the house is just a short walk from the beach, so I was able to easily spend my days soaking up the sun or strolling along the shore. Plus, it’s close to shops and restaurants, which made it super convenient for grabbing a bite to eat or picking up a few things. The house itself is spacious and so comfortable, with lots of natural light and a fully equipped kitchen. The private pool and hot tub in the backyard were amazing for relaxing after a day at the beach, and the back patio perfect for hanging out and enjoying the view. I also had a blast checking out the nearby pickleball courts. Whether I wanted to chill or stay active, Soak Up the Sun 7 had everything I needed for an unforgettable getaway.
