Featuring six spacious bedrooms and a huge great room with TONS of decking surrounding the house, you can bring the whole gang and still have plenty of room for private getaways. Watch the sun come up over the sparkling Atlantic from the comfy polywood chairs and loungers on the ocean-side deck or sip a cocktail in the furnished screen porch after a soak in the hot tub. There’s a game room with a pool table and wet bar to keep you entertained and the spacious kitchen is well stocked to feed the entire crowd. Additionally, you have access to all those fabulous Corolla Light amenities. The oceanfront pools are a short jaunt away and the activities director will keep the kids entertained all day. Or, catch the jitney over to the sound-side sports center for a refreshing workout or a set of racquetball. Of course, the beach access is directly across the street, so you can feel the ocean on your toes in no time at all. “Southern memories” has everything you and your family need to have the vacation of a lifetime!

Corolla Light is a Private Community that Requires Guests to Wear Wristbands to Access Community Amenities. Corolla Light Amenities for 12 Guests. The HOA offers trolley service from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Things to Know
Guests have access to the Corolla Light Recreational Amenities. Guests are instructed to pick up their resort information and amenity bracelets on the first day of their reservation at the Corolla Light Sports Center located at 1026 Ocean Trail Corolla, NC 27927. Your check in time is not until 4:00 PM but you can take advantage of the resort amenities as soon as you retrieve your information from the Sports center, as early as 9 am on your scheduled check-in day.

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO Village Realty in writing. In case of cancellation, all monies will be refunded less a 150 cancellation fee if you cancel 31 or more days prior to arrival. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations within 14 days of arrival will not be subject to a refund.

We really liked this house! the newer living room furniture and kitchen appliances really helped with updating the place. We loved the layout and the many bedrooms/bathrooms were great for our group of 12. Location near the beach and resort amenities was great. awesome view. As to the other reviews about the house being dated and a bit worn, we liked the decor, it was very homey. As for it being worn, we have been vacationing at Corolla light for 30 years and this house is no more "worn" than most we have stayed in. People need to realize that renters move in and out of these homes all year long. When one considers this, this home is in great shape. Not perfect, but really nice. We would definitely stay here again.

When I read the reviews for this house someone said “ not modern but like Grandmas house.” This was spot on!! Grandmas in a good way. My kids enjoyed pretending to use the phone on the wall with the really long cord , old alarm clocks, well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room , beds comfortable and plenty of outdoor space and deck furniture. Location was amazing and very close to anything you might need. Groceries, souvenirs, restaurants. Loved this house!! Traffic in the Duck area can get crazy in on certain days and times. With all the bathrooms was very nice but one walk in shower in only one bedroom the rest had very deep tubs that were dacuzzies. Only bad thing is if you have elderly they may find it hard to step into the tub but again they have a restroom with a walking shower they could use.

This home is just about beach front—access is across a very quiet neighborhood street is amazing. We felt comfortable letting our kids go back and forth to the beach independently without worry. This neighborhood is lovely and has great amenities. We loved the pickleball and tennis within walking distance! This beach house is functional and maintained, kindof like your grandma’s house. Super clean and cozy, but not trendy. We would stay here again for sure.

This house was probably a gem in its day. The location is fabulous, across the street from the beach access! It is still a nice home but definitely needs updates. Our biggest complaint was that the carpets were steam-cleaned prior to our arrival. I’m not sure if that is a weekly event or if it was needed due to the previous occupants. It took several days for the carpets to dry causing the home to feel damp most of the week. One (purely selfish) suggestion that would be great would be a second full-size refrigerator on the ground floor to keep drinks in. That would make packing a daily cooler for the beach much easier than having to haul drinks down the stairs each day.

I’m sorry the recently steam‑cleaned carpets took several days to dry and made the home feel damp. I’ve shared this with our housekeeping and maintenance teams so they can review the cleaning schedule and drying procedures (and confirm carpets are fully dry before check‑in). We’ll also inspect the carpet to determine if deeper cleaning, replacement, or faster‑drying solutions are needed. Thank you for the suggestion about a second refrigerator on the ground floor. I’ve passed that idea along to the owner for consideration — possible options include adding a full‑size fridge or a beverage fridge to make beach days easier.
