We brought our friends and family here for two weeks- it was home away from home. Everything you could need is in this house! A bathroom for each bedroom, a fully stocked kitchen… gorgeous pantry room with tons of storage- rent this house!

Corolla is heaven on earth and whenever this house is available, we are staying here. It’s within walking distance to the beach, coffee, barbecue, the bookstore, all the things you need at the beach. It’s on the north side of town and super quiet and we can’t say enough about Corolla and this house!

This location and property make for a wonderful vacation. Being so close to the lighthouse, the 4x4 beach and the historic park is very ci nc eminent and the quiet neighborhood are very enjoyable. We loved feeding the turtles from the deck! We will definitely be back.

Emotional rescue was more than we anticipated . The sound location is unmatched, nature all around with comfort of the back deck, front porch even if weather was poor(which it wasnt) you can sit comfy inside still soaking up all the beauty with a cup of coffee or tea. The house is so full of natural light, beautiful windows from every room. I can't decide if my favorite room was the study with beautiful bookcases or the master sitting area, or even the laundry room made me happy. During our stay my family enjoyed the turtles, osprey which had a nest in the chimney you could view from sunroom. The highlight for me was my quite morning coffee at dawn, I opened all the windows to look over the water and was pleasantly suprised by sea otter just babies at least 4 or 5, every morning I anxiously awaited them. This house was beautiful crafted, the interiors are just the right cozy, but functional &easy to keep clean with 4 kids in the house. The location on season can't be matched walkable for my older teens to shops, smoothies, beach access. We will be back!!!

This was our first time in Corolla and Emotional Rescue was a perfect home base for our trip. We loved the cozy feel of the house, the beautiful carvings and artwork, and the turtles, ducks and egret that visited the back yard. The steam shower in the master bath was epic, like having your own private spa. The house is tucked in on a quiet street but also short walk to a coffee shop, book store and the Currituck light house. Who knew Corolla was so quaint? What an incredible location. To have a rental this nice that allows dogs is really awesome. Thank you!

This beautiful home is tucked behind the historic village church and bookstore and is located on a private soundside pond. There is an enormous osprey nest over the chimney and we delighted in having a front row seat to watch the nest and its fledglings. A great blue heron visited us daily and the water is loaded with bobbing turtles. The beach is a short walk to the end of the road across Hwy 29 and it’s a super short walk to the library, Corolla pizza, coffee cart, barbecue joint, beer garden, lighthouse, nature center, etc. The house is beautifully furnished, well equipped, and so private. Huge primary bedroom, large walk in closet, steam shower. Want quiet and isolated in the heart of Corolla even during the busy season? This is the place! We will be back—thank you!

Awesome Place! We loved that it was tucked back in its own little area with its own fishing pond that was amazing for watching the birds, turtles and fish. !! Not too bad of a walk to the beach, and also short drive to the public beach access was also nice. The back deck provided tons of space to spread out and sit and enjoy the outdoors and the short walk to the hot tub was also a plus!!

Been going to Corolla for over 20 years and this is the only home that we have been repeat guests several times. The location is very private and an easy walk/bike to all of Corolla Village and Corolla LightBeach is uncrowded a there is something for everyone from ice cream, pizza, juice, bars and restaurants. Only need to drive is to the grocery. Feels like you are at home from the minute you arrive.

We loved the size of the home, loved that every bedroom had a bathroom attached. The outdoor space is amazing and we enjoyed it very much. Plenty of cookware, pots and pans, silverware etc. we enjoyed fishing in the pond. Location was easily walkable to beach and cute shops and coffee. We loved being able to have our dog vacation with us, thank you for being pet friendly.

Beautiful open concept home with enough space to get lost in your own space. Back deck overlooking pond was the perfect spot for morning coffee. We saw and fed the turtles daily. There were lots of beautiful herons and two ponies would come daily to graze on grass in the yard. No worries they totally ignored us and were so peaceful to watch. Great house.

The location of this property is great. The privacy and view were much appreciated. We loved having a yard for the dogs to roam around and a quiet street for off-leash walking. It is a large home with plenty of space for lots of people; although, it appears to sleep only 8. The kitchen was functional with gas cooking. Would have appreciated more silverware and updated cookware.

Being a former local, and knowing several of the neighbors, it was a nice welcome pulling up to the house and having 2 Shetland Ponies grazing in the yard. It reminded me of the old days before the wild horses were sequestered to North Beach. The house was clean, very spacious, and perfectly located for wildlife viewing. I would definitely recommend this property and we will be back at some point.

Emotional Rescue was the perfect home for our family vacation of 6 adults and 2 babies. After lots of research and spreadsheets, we ultimately chose this home for several reasons. First, we loved the location. The home is just north of the shops and restaurants, but it was pretty easy to walk to (@ .7 miles each way). It was also an easy walk or super short drive to the public beach (.8 miles walking) - and it was easy to walk to with the beach cart they provided! Additionally, you will find yourself extremely close to the Corolla Beer Garden (became our favorite spot) and to the public park on the water with trails and beautiful spots for photos. You're around the corner from the historic village with a coffee shop, smoothie/juice bar and historic lighthouse. Aside from location, it was a great space. The home is huge and spread out so we were able to have private spaces to work in the morning and socialize at night. The kitchen is big and well-equipped; although I wish we knew all of the amenities that were included ahead of time (like a blender, some spices, etc.). We ended up bringing everything just to be safe! The patio out front was so nice later in the day and we loved hanging on the porch swings and having drinks - and my nephew loved the daily horse visitors! The back deck is beautiful too with views overlooking a pond. It was hot and didn't provide much shade but we would grill frequently and wait to eat closer to sunset. The one thing to note about the space is that the gorgeous master bedroom shares a bathroom with the room on the other side. It was a bit difficult with privacy as we shared with my brother and sister-in-law. But I will say, the walk-in closet and shower were AMAZING! Just something to keep in mind when choosing rooms. We appreciated that we were provided with different beach items; the wagon and chairs were key and made our beach trips easier. Overall, we do recommend this home and feel it's perfect for a large family or some couples. You will love the serenity, location, and comforts of the house!

I have been coming to Corolla for years and this house is unlike any other - the art, the flow, the beautiful details (pocket doors! Amazon fire stick! built ins, plush area rugs) made me feel like I was staying in someone's gorgeously appointed home. The pond is so quiet and peaceful and we loved seeing turtles, herons, not to mention rabbits, lizards and frogs during our stay. Incredible!
