This two-story home sits half a block from the sound - so close that you can glimpse the water from the sundeck and the living room. The location is a delight for walkers and cyclists, with the Bay Drive Multi-Use Path, the Hayman Gazebo, the Avalon Beach Boat Ramp, and the Avalon Pier on the Atlantic Ocean all within half a mile. The Wright Brothers National Memorial is only two miles south as well.

Built in 2022, this polished home is a joy to return to after a day of salt and sand at the beach. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, toss your swimsuits and towels in the washer/dryer, and relax in the shade of the patio with burgers sizzling on the gas grill. When the sun begins to set, move upstairs to the deck to take in a gorgeous view of the illuminated evening sky.

Inside, the living spaces are bright, new, and uncluttered, with central air conditioning and complimentary WiFi running throughout. Enjoy a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a window-lined dining space, and a living room where you can gather for movies on cable and streaming services. Of the bedrooms, one is a spacious primary suite with vaulted ceilings and its own bathroom.

Pets allowed. No smoking/ vaping.

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO Village Realty in writing. In case of cancellation, all monies will be refunded less a 150 cancellation fee if you cancel 31 or more days prior to arrival. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations within 14 days of arrival will not be subject to a refund.

My husband and I loved the very comfortable King-sized bed and lovely linens. We loved the convenient design of the whole house. We used the basement as well with the big comfy couch. First time visit to Hope Haven! Gorgeous home with all the amenities, including stellar sunsets right there on the sound. Fantastic location for easy walks along the sound and a very quick drive to the beach. Plenty of room for all of us, especially the whole bottom floor with the additional full bathroom, TV and huge couch. Can't wait to go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hope Haven. The house is new, clean, and inviting. The decor is gorgeous. An added bonus is that it's dog-friendly. The street is quiet, yet close to all of the stores and restaurants Kill Devil Hills offers. There was plenty of public beach access for walking on the beach or sunbathing. The walkway along the sound was perfect for our dog and we even found a little spot at the end of the road with a tiny beach and tree swing. We highly recommend Hope Haven and look forward to returning next year.

My family and I adore this home. It's new construction, very clean and cozy. Beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the walk along the sound and to the playground. We didn't realize this home is pet friendly but was clean enough and had minimal hair throughout as my son is allergic. It is quiet and relaxing and the neighbors were friendly.
