Description

Located just three homes south of the nearest public beach access and right next to Booty Treats ice cream, this idyllic multi-level home provides guests with the ultimate beach spot for a family vacation! This retreat has six bedrooms located throughout three levels, which is perfect if you were planning on bringing your entire family or groups of friends. There is enough space for
everyone.

The inviting family room features a set of comfortable sofas in front of a smart TV and direct access to the enclosed backyard, which is all about fun and entertainment. The in-ground outdoor pool will be the star of the home, especially during hot summer days. Spend your days swimming or grilling delicious steaks, patties, or veggies on the gas grill. An outdoor dining area with a beautiful pergola allows you all to enjoy memorable meals alfresco while the beach loungers are ideal for sunbathing.

Inside the basement, discover a well-appointed kitchenette with a full-size fridge to store your goodies, a microwave, and a dishwasher. Two bedrooms share a full bathroom; both bedrooms have smart TVs with cable for added entertainment. There is also a family room with a foosball table and arcade system! And a SmartTV for watching the big game or connecting your gaming system, which is perfect for the kids.

The middle level of the home hosts three bedrooms, each one with an en suite full bathroom and a smart TV with cable. This floor also grants guests access to a covered deck with plenty of seating, including a porch swing and incredible views of the neighboring homes.

And last, but definitely not least, the third and upper level hosts the main living space of the home, along with the main bedroom, and a full bathroom. The living area has vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows to enjoy all the natural light coming in. Choose any of the comfortable sofas and snuggle up to watch your favorite show on the smart TV. Off the living room is a private balcony with a bistro table for two and extra seating. The open kitchen is appointed with all major appliances plus a dishwasher for easy cleanup, a Keurig coffee maker, and a four-person island to keep the chef company. The gorgeous dining table has enough space to seat eight people comfortably. The bedroom has a smart TV and an en suite bathroom with a separate soaking tub and a separate, large shower.

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO Village Realty in writing. In case of cancellation, all monies will be refunded less a 150 cancellation fee if you cancel 31 or more days prior to arrival. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations within 14 days of arrival will not be subject to a refund.

The house set up is perfect for extended families traveling together. With four master bedrooms/bathrooms plus another queen room and bunk room we all had plenty of space to have our own sleeping space but then a huge great room and kitchen to gather for meals and games. The close proximately to the beach makes it easily accessible to go back to the house for lunch or to take a quick dip in the pool.

We stayed in Sweet Retreat for a long weekend and were very impressed! The house was spotlessly clean, including the game room in the basement, the pool, ...and everywhere else! The arcade game would have provided hours of rainy day entertainment, but thankfully we didn't have any rainy days :) Beds were comfortable, towels were provided -- there was hardly anything that wasn't exactly what you'd want. The deck on the top floor did have a view of the ocean, but it was pretty small and off to the side. But the location was still amazing! From the front door to toes in the waves was a 5 minute walk, tops. The public beach access is easy to get to and leads to a very nice stretch of beach. I know from experience that days on the sand can get exhausting with small children, but the house is so close to the beach that you can easily go back and forth several times per day without bother. And, even in mid September the water was warm enough to swim in! The restaurants that we tried within just a few miles drive are all fabulous, especially if you enjoy fresh caught fish. Some favorites were Noosa Grill, Kill Devil Grill, and Tortuga's Lie. Sadly we didn't get a chance to try Booty Treats ice cream shop which was literally right next to Sweet Retreat. I guess we will just have to come back for another visit!

Sweet Retreat is a beautiful home! The home comfortably slept six adults and three teenagers. We loved the decks. The ocean view from the third level deck is awesome, and the swing on the second level deck is the perfect place to relax. The short walk to the beach allowed us to come back for lunch and quickly get back to the beach. The kids loved the pool. Sweet Retreat — we will be back!

We had a great adventure at Sweet Retreat. Somehow, this house manages to be super close to the beach but still have a very generous yard! The yard is very cool, with an awesome little pagoda which is perfect for stargazing, or getting a break from the water. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the great room is perfect for gathering. Older kids will appreciate the lower level with a nice media room, arcade, and kitchenette. And the giant swing on the deck is incredibly relaxing. The ice cream shop next door was just opening, so we didn't get a chance to try it...yet! We'll be back, though!
