With 8 adults and 3 kids the house was a perfect blend of privacy and family sharing space. We love the house and pool. Pickle ball in the driveway was a bonus we hadn’t planned on.

While friends took their families to Disneyland, we opted to fly to the Outer Banks we made the better choice! Buhler's Day Off was fabulous. We had 5 families, with grandchildren ages 1 year to 11. The beach was so walkable close no one complained and some even ran back to the house for a snack or bathroom break. Two sand carts, chairs, sand toys and boogie boards were provided for us. No beach towels, our mistake I should have read closer. The common space is larger enough no one felt crowded and room enough for several activities to be happening at once. We did stop at Costco in Norfolk, but found the two grocery stores in Corolla reasonably priced by Utah standards. Instead of having to pay theme park admissions, we purchased kites at the local kite store. They were a hit. We also, did our own seafood boil. It was nice to have all the cooking tools we needed. We also grilled several times. On our second try. We saw the wild horses on the beach, which is a short drive from the house. The only downside was the traffic to and from Norfolk. Even though we had been warned, the traffic was a new experience for us. Our whole family has voted to do this again!

Awesome home! Plenty of room for the whole extended family. Awesome pool, quick walk to beach, tons of beach chairs, toys and gear. Kitchen is great- so much natural light and the 3 tables to gather with a large group at dinner is amazing. Baby gates saved us. So many bedrooms and bathrooms was awesome!

Buhler’s Day Off is the perfect house for your next OBX trip. As a mom of 3, I’m looking for convenience, proximity to the beach, and ways to keep the kiddos entertained. This house has it all! The remodeled kitchen is beautiful and the best stocked vacation rental I’ve ever been in. Basically any appliance you could use AND a whole drawer full of kid friendly utensils. The pool and hot tub are great, and the pool and foosball table provided lots of fun! The house is a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. I can’t recommend highly enough!

Great home! Very well stocked kitchen and we loved the pickle ball court on the driveway. Great dining area where 11 of us could sit for meals and many hours of fun games. The beach carts are a huge help as there is more of a walk than the pictures show. Short, very do-able walk. We will be back next year for sure. ??

We loved all of the Buhler's Day Off accommodations which provided excellent facilities with lots of space and a good view of the ocean to watch the sunrise. Our children and grandchildren loved swimming in the ocean, but also loved the pool and hot tub. We would definitely love to stay here again if the opportunity presents.
