The nearby Maritime Forest Trail Head offers a boardwalk stroll beneath the preserve's canopy and scenic views of Raccoon Bay. Be sure to book one of the local tours for a chance to see the iconic Corolla Wild Horses.

With indoor and outdoor living areas spanning all three floors, this home is designed to accommodate friend and family groups with ease.

Inside, challenge guests to a few rounds of foosball in the ground-floor game room, enjoy some quiet reading or TV time in the second-floor den, or gather for family movie nights in the upstairs great room. The gorgeous full kitchen comes equipped with all the counter space and major appliances you'll need to handle family-style meal prep with ease. The house had three levels which gave everyone room to spread out during our family gathering. Living room areas and tvs on each level so plenty of entertainment space. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and bake for a large number of guests. Two refrigerators in the home was perfect for all the food we had for our family members. There are outdoor dining spaces which we used when we had our seafood boil. Our time was topped off with a drive down to the beach where we saw the Corolla horses.

Our first family vacation to OBX and I booked a house blindly, and man, I couldn't have picked it better if I tried. With a group of 8 adults and 6 kids the only thing I would have changed is the configuration of 2 bedrooms. Other than that, this house is perfect. The pool is perfect, it's steps away from the beach and quick access to the 4x4 beach. If you're like my family and me and you're just looking to find a quieter vacation house, not located sandwiched in-between other houses this is the house you want to get.
