I recently spent my 30th birthday here. This home was spacious and very accommodating. We loved the game room and enjoyed the hot tub. During my stay, I found out that Corolla is such a beautiful community. Everything is so close and convenient. The beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. The restaurants and shops are less than a 10-minute drive. There’s so much to do in the area. We climbed the lighthouse and took a tour on the beach to see the local wild horses. I really enjoyed this vacation and the many memories I got to make. I would definitely book through Village Realty again!

The house was just as expected based on the photos from the listing. Lots of space for our group of 15 plus two dogs. House was clean (although two hours late due to delayed cleaning) and many items we didn't expect to have were available (shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all showers!). Kitchen was well stocked with sufficient cookware and plates and glassware. Location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. Didn't use the clubhouse or pools because the private pool and hot tub were perfect for us. Lovely decks with lots of chairs for sitting outside. All the mattresses were extremely firm which was made for rough nights for many. Pool table got lots of use by the teens. Easy check-in / out. Definitely recommend!

We had a family reunion with 14 adults and never felt cramped. We loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The pool was large and well maintained. Walking to the beach was easy. We had 6 vehicles easily parked in the driveway without blocking anyone in or having to rearrange cars. AC was nice and cold. Would definitely consider this home again if we ever to another large OBX trip.

We recently stayed at The Salty Crab in Corolla and had an awesome time! The house was exactly what we needed for our big family getaway—plenty of space (7 bedrooms), and each room had its own bathroom, which made mornings way easier. The home was clean, well-stocked, and had a fun, laid-back beach vibe. The walk to the beach was super easy—just a few minutes, no busy roads to cross. The kids loved the game room, and the adults really appreciated the hot tub and large kitchen area (double dishwashers were a lifesaver). Overall, The Salty Crab was a great choice—spacious, comfortable, and close to everything. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Just had a New Year’s trip to Salty Crab with two families and made memories to last a lifetime. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The amenities are great including a hot tub and pool table, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Too cold this time of year for the swimming pool but we’ll come back when it’s warmer and enjoy that too. We had all of the kitchen appliances and gadgets we needed to prepare and enjoy family meals. I wish I had two dishwashers at home like the Salty Crab does! The double entrance loop-through driveway is great and made this particular house so easy to drive in and out of. The location is great in one of my favorite areas of Corolla. Just a short walk to the beach and still close to dining and shopping. My bed was comfortable and everything was just right. We will definitely make another trip to the Salty Crab!

The house is one of the cleanest houses we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was well equipped for our large group. The decks were wonderfully maintained and beautiful. The only thing that we didn’t like was that all of the beds were very firm but that is just a personal preference. We would happily rent this house again!

We stayed at the Salty Crab for our kid’s spring break this year. The house was clean, comfortable, and the location was excellent. It was cold outside a couple days we were there, but the bright lighting on the top floor made it feel like we were hanging outside. There’s a reading nook on the top level that was great for pouring into a book, writing, or just hanging out with coffee and chatting. We had such a blast and this house really made it a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!!

Our vacation at the Salty Crab over the Memorial Day weekend was nothing short of spectacular. The house had plenty of space for our two families (and 2 dogs) and had lots of great amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked, the pool was enormous, and the hot tub was covered which made it wonderful to lounge in throughout the rain storm. Aside from the beautifully decorated home, the landscaping was also immaculate. The deck looked brand-new and had plenty of space to hang out. It was only a short walk to the beach, and the accessibility to pickle ball courts was the icing on the cake! We will definitely be staying here again.
