This semi-oceanfront home with great ocean views awaits your ultimate satisfaction. A hot tub and private unheated pool will add to your vacation pleasure. This is the place for beach lovers! It's only a few steps from the beach.

Ground Level: Entry and laundry area.

Mid Level: Features a private den with a TV. There is one shared full bathroom on this level, one bedroom outfitted with two twin beds, a primary bedroom with a bunk set and two twin beds, a queen primary bedroom, and a primary bedroom.

Top Level: The lovely great room with TV/DVD, offers fantastic views, and opens to the sunroom also with TV/DVD. The kitchen is well-equipped for your cooking enjoyment. There is a primary bedroom on this level. The decks overlook the pool area and ocean. A half bath completes this level.

Amenities: Guests can enjoy a private unheated Pool, hot tub, WiFi, unlimited domestic long distance calls, seven TVs, two DVDs, video library, board games, books, two refrigerators, two dishwashers, ceiling fans in all Bedrooms, high chair, and a basketball hoop. guests can enjoy 90 yards of beach access.

No pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Fireplace not available for guest use.

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO Village Realty in writing. In case of cancellation, all monies will be refunded less a 150 cancellation fee if you cancel 31 or more days prior to arrival. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations within 14 days of arrival will not be subject to a refund.

We’ve stayed at this property yearly since 2020 and always love it! It’s a perfect location with easy access to the beach, very roomy with plenty of bathrooms, and a huge kitchen/dining/family room that’s great for hanging out in the evenings. They upgraded the deck this year to trex (or something similar) which was a huge improvement, and it has great views! Truly great vacation home for a big family! Can’t wait to come back next year!!!

We have been coming to this house off-and-on since 2005 and enjoy the proximity to the beach, the private pool, and grill. The Whalehead Beach community is close to all the necessities and has the nicest beaches.

Our family has now stayed at this property for the 5th year in a row. The house is always extremely clean. Each year, there is always something new added. This year there was a new washer and dryer, a new bedroom set in one of the rooms, a new walk-in shower in one of the bathrooms and some new games left. The owners seem to constantly be looking to improve. This location of this property is also amazing- a short walk to the beach, a short drive to restaurants, the grocery store and shops. Staying here is the highlight of our summer every year! I would 10/10 recommend.

Excellent location 1 house from Public beach access. Pool larger size compared to most obx homes we have stayed. Large Deck in front of home with some nice ocean views. Small deck in back with stairs to pool and hot tub. Very good value.

Over the Rainbow was a great house for our group. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and it’s proximity to the beach was great. We had several in our group that were working remotely, the house was able to accommodate them with the extra two dens , giving the privacy they needed for their meetings. The kitchen was well equipped, which was great for our family that loves to cook. (Better knives would have been helpful) The pool and the hot tub were great. The decks were also a nice feature, particularly in the morning for sunrise. We plan to come back!
