2 WHOLE FANTASTIC WEEKS was spent in this beautiful 10 bedroom 12 bath vacation rental. Our group of 19 had ample room throughout with 2 spacious kitchens, 2 large dining rooms and two large entertainment rooms. The entire home was stocked with everyday kitchenware, blow dryers, washers and dryers, dishwashers, 2 one car garages, bicycles, outdoor gas grills and two large hot tubs. We arrived extremely early not judging the drive time correctly, so we spent time at the HUGE private community pool and hot tub. The entire private Buck Island community screams charm and relaxation, with many different types of homes, ponds and fountains. The beach is only a short 3 block walk where we spent most days and catching the sunrises. Another short walk in the opposite direction takes you to the Currituck Sound for absolutely amazing Sunsets. Shopping and restaurants are only a 5 minute walk away or you can use the provided bicycles (which we did a lot). We were also only 6 miles from the drive on on beach where we had seen numerous wild mustangs and some deer. WARNING! the drive on beach is for 4 wheel drive vehicles only and make sure you air your tires down before entering the sand. Also make sure you visit the Corolla Light House and Museum, it's a beautiful place, especially at sunset. We are certainly going back and are already planning our next vacation there.
