"This is the second year we stayed at this home and it was even better than the 1st time.
The house is spacious and the cleanliness is top notch. The pool and hot tub are a great way to enjoy the summer sun without getting all sandy. The rooms are comfortable, with soft beds and tasteful furniture. Temperature is consistent and all of the appliances worked well. They even have automated blinds this year for added privacy! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. The grocery store is right at the end of the neighborhood, as well as pick up for one of the Wild Horses tours and ice cream - you can golf cart there! Access to the beach is super easy - 1 beach you can golf cart to. The other is a short drive down the road and has an awesome pool. While we were there we ate in Duck, paddle boarded in the sound, got beers at the Corolla Beer Garden, and walked the Historic Corolla Village. The management company was quick to reply if we needed anything. Check in and check out was smooth. The week will fly by and you'll be itching to book next year's visit!"

"Located in a nice safe community. Loved having a pool at the house because ocean water was cold most of the week. Loved the beach access with pool nearby. Had a great time with family. Beautiful clean home with everything that we needed. "

"We had an amazing vacation and highly recommend this home. It's a great size, excellent condition and ideal location. The kitchen was recently remodeled and well stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed having access to all the amenities at the Currituck Club, but it was especially nice to have access to the Pine Island Club too. It made getting to the beach so easy and relaxing. That was a huge plus."

"My friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning beach house, and it was an experience we are already planning to repeat yearly. From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly left, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect.
Location: ★★★★★ (5/5)
The beach house is located in a quiet, private, gated community with multiple great views of the sound, a fun golf course, and easy access to grocery stores, beach access, and restaurants. It's just a few min from Duck but feels way more secluded.
What's special about this spot? The access to views of the sound. The views over the marshy sound were especially stunning at sunset. It was fantastic to be able to take a short walk to your choice of 2 sunset view spots of a quality you would usually need a reservation at a pricey restaurant for. We even saw a buck running through the tall grass at sunset!
Accommodation: ★★★★★ (5/5)
The house itself was a true gem. It was spacious with 4 floors separating the 2 living rooms, 5 bedrooms, billiards room, and open concept kitchen/dining making sure everyone gets their privacy. It was immaculately clean, and beautifully, tastefully decorated without being too beach themed. The wide open living area provided breathtaking panoramic views through towering windows, letting the most amazing light into the giant kitchen, living room, and dining space that can easily fit 10. The bedrooms were large and comfortable with new furniture and beds, and the kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances and all the utensils you'd need. We particularly loved that fact that every bedroom had it's own bathroom. The house had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You can really tell that the owners love this space - from the fun decor to the upgraded appliances and beds, you will feel well cared for here.
Outdoor Space: ★★★★★ (5/5)
Another highlight of this beach house was its outdoor space. The raised deck off the main floor was our favorite spot for morning coffee and quickly became our group's meeting spot before heading out for our daily adventures. We also made use of the barbecue grill, the hot tub, and the pool. It was so fun to have our own private pool for a quick dip after a long day in the sun. The major plus with this rental was their private access beach clubs at The Pine Island Club and The Currituck Club. The Pine Island has a fantastic pool, locker room, games as well as beach access and the Currituck Club (you can golf cart to) has a fun snack bar that sells beers and sandwiches, amongst other things. Having both clubs was great because we never got bored and the amenities made our stay at the beach much more enjoyable.
Cleanliness: ★★★★★ (5/5)
The cleanliness of the property was impeccable. It was clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining their beach house. We felt comfortable and safe throughout our stay, especially during these times when cleanliness is of utmost importance.
Hospitality: ★★★★★ (5/5)
The property management company was great. They provided us with all the information we needed before our arrival and were readily available to answer any questions during our stay.
Other places we visited:
- For views of the sound: NC Coast Grill or Village Table and Tavern
- For a good bagel or sandwich: Lighthouse Bagels
- For great thai or sushi: Bangkok Thai-Sushi Duck, NC
- Groceries: Harris Teeter is right by the community
- For a thrill: Wild Horse Adventure Tours was right at the end of the neighborhood and gave a great tour of the wild horse/4 wheeler only sections of Corolla
Overall, our stay at this beach house was nothing short of spectacular. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We left feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and grateful for the wonderful memories we created during our time there. We can't wait to return to this dreamy paradise by the sea/sound. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us."

"August 2015 Stay - Absolutely beautiful home in a beautiful, perfect neighborhood. Home had a wonderful layout and had everthing we needed. Thankful we could bring our 2 dogs. We've been going to the outerbanks every other year for the last 20 years. Have spent more time in Nags Head over last 14 years due to activities available there for younger children. Corolla has come a long way since our last stay in 2001. Too bad Duck is such a bottleneck on weekends. Special thanks to the homeowners and their lovely neighbors. "
