With a change in latitude comes Changes in Attitude! This newly remodeled soundside retreat in the Currituck Club is just what your family needs to reset and recharge. Changes in Attitude is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac right on the golf course with incredible views of the 12th fairway. With over 3,500 square feet of indoor living space plus 1,100 square feet of decking, this expansive home can easily accommodate multiple or extended families. Changes in Attitude is equipped with an elevator, ideal for guests with mobility issues. Skip the stairs and use it to send luggage and groceries to the upper floors. The top-level great room features vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and an open-concept layout ideal for gathering. Floor-to-ceiling windows take full advantage of the magnificent view and bring in an abundance of natural light. Two sets of sliding doors open up onto the expansive sun deck overlooking the pool below. When you're not dining out, prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen with double wall oven and center island with bar seating. The primary bedroom is conveniently located on the top level and also provides golf course views and deck access. A spacious ensuite bath includes dual vanities, a large walk-in shower and a separate jetted tub.
Four more bedrooms are located on the mid-level, two of which are additional ensuites, along with a second deck overlooking the fairway and pool. Downstairs, you'll find the sixth bedroom plus a large rec space that will be everyone's favorite room of the house. Challenge family and friends to a game of pool or a round of foosball. A ping pong table and pop-a-shot basketball game in the garage provide even more options for indoor entertainment. A pull-out sofa provides alternative options for sleeping arrangements if needed. The rec room leads directly to the backyard with a large private pool and hot tub for soaking away the day.
During your stay, everyone in your group can take advantage of the world-class resort amenities available exclusively to Currituck Club guests. The community's main clubhouse is less than half a mile away and features a fitness center, outdoor pool, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard and volleyball. During the summer months, take a short walk to the trolley stop and use the complimentary shuttle service to get to the beach. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted by a valet who can assist you with carrying all of your gear (Memorial Day - Labor Day). Golf enthusiasts can book a tee-time or clinic at the world-class 18-hole championship course designed by Rees Jones. Just past the clubhouse, a Harris Teeter is located at the entrance of the community so groceries and conveniences will always be just minutes away.

We had a wonderful time at this spacious vacation rental property in Monteray Shores! The property was perfect for our family, with six bedrooms and three bathrooms, providing ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy our stay. While we didn't use the pool during our winter visit, we can imagine how enjoyable it would be during the warmer months. The location was great - close to the beach and with easy access to the community amenities like the tennis courts, fitness center, and clubhouse. The property manager was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable Outer Banks vacation, especially those who appreciate spacious accommodations and a convenient location.- Posted: 1/1/2025

Village Realty employees are very responsive and friendly, which was lovely.
This house was above and beyond our expectations! It was very clean and beautiful. There were many unlisted amenities including: a fully equipped kitchen (standard tools plus an air fry, espresso machine, Kitchen Aid, ice maker etc.); a nice outdoor shower; private beach access for the duration of your trip which included a pool & snack shop for Village Realty guest with free parking (public parking was full one day). This closes at 5pm; eight bikes for a five minute ride to Harris Teeter, a souvenir shop, pizza, an excellent horse tour, Duck Donuts or the Community Center with yet another pool, a nice gym and all equipment needed for pickleball, shuffleboard, or basketball. A round of golf was only $5. There is a slight view of the ocean next to the table of your tall enough.

Outstanding home and service. Upon arrival we usually do a quick check for any maintenance issues that would need submitted to give you time. This year - first time in 13 years - nothing. House cleaning was spotless. We have stayed at many different homes in Currituck Club but this home is a hidden nugget - we will be back here for sure! This place was marvelous. We had family together for my Grandmas 90th birthday and this had everything she loves! Puzzles, games, spacious kitchen for home cooked meals, and lots of gathering space for all of us! We had a wonderful time at Changes of Attitude. The cottage was well thought out by the owner. Everything you need was there for your convenience. Best place I ever stayed. A real winner. A must stay!!!- Posted: 8/1/2023

The house was perfect for our four families. In a perfect area of Corolla, it was nice to have everything we needed close by. We had an issue with hornets but the management company sent an exterminator right away. The home was well stocked, to include kitchen items, bikes and other items. There were vacuums available but they did not work. We ended up buying a broom which we left on site, in order to keep up maintenance on the house since there were no cleaning items accessible. This was one of the best beach houses we have ever stayed in! The 4 king bedrooms were so wonderful for us! The kitchen had everything you could want and the view of the golf course was amazing! The pool and hot tub were also great! The exterior of the house was so clean and spider free! Unfortunately, this is the last year this house will have Pine Island Beach Club Access (which was the MAIN reason that we rented Changes in Attitude)- Posted: 7/1/2023
