For nature lovers just look out the back windows or stand on the decks to see the nesting ospreys who come back year after year, bald eagles, a family of otters, purple martins, house finches, bluebirds, and nesting purple swallows. The sound views and nature scenes are simply breathtaking. If you want to go to the beach, the house includes a membership to the exclusive Pine Island Beach and pool Club or you can walk or take the trolley to the Currituck Club beach.
This is the ultimate soundfront vacation retreat. 14' x 32' private pool, hot tub, elevator, screened porch, and a grill. Multiple TVs and DVD players surround sound and high-speed WIFI. The rec room area features a pool table and the game room in the garage offers ping pong, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard and Ms. Pacman/Galaga/Pacman Arcade Game. The loft area offers a poker table for family game nights. Community pools, tennis courts, and fitness center also available.

Awesome house
This property is well appointed with anything you need in the kitchen. Our family cooked almost every night. The double dishwasher and double ovens were key. The sound viewing and sunsets were amazing. The photos are accurate but not as beautiful as the home actually is. The Pine Island Beach Access is very nice. You have ample parking, restrooms, a pool at the beach for those who don’t get in the ocean, and a shower area to take care of the sand on the way to your car. Enjoyed spending a week in this beautiful house with a wonderful deck for watching the gorgeous sunsets and a terrific pool! House was nice and spacious and kitchen was well stocked with quality pans, knives, etc. (I would suggest updating kitchen list of appliances on house site as I brought things that were already at the house.) Sound view and sunsets were terrific! Would definitely consider returning to "Sounds Like Fun". Service response from Village Realty was prompt. We had a great week. This was our second year of staying at Sounds Like Fun. Our 3 grown children with5 grandkids loved our time together. We were very sad when the rate for next year increased beyond our means.- Posted: 7/1/2023

The house was clean upon arrival and had everything we could have needed in it! The house even had a large collection of beach chairs! We had a pretty rainy week so between the game room and two living spaces there was plenty to keep the kids occupied!- Posted: 5/27/2023

This house is beautifully maintained. We loved the views of the Sound and especially loved watching the osprey. We were saddened when the nest blew off the post during a strong thunder and wind storm. We tried our best to get a hold of local Wildness agencies to see if they could come out to reattach the nest which held two young osprey but we didn`t have any luck. The house has beautiful decks to enjoy the sunsets and we loved being in the Historical Loop. Tons of room to spread out and we loved the game room area. We are hoping to return again next year!Thanks for making this a great an isolated getaway during these strange times.- Posted: 6/1/2020
