CC420: Shell's By The Seashore

This is our second stay at this property. Since we have many children and grandchildren, historic loop is a great place for the young ones to ride bikes. We have been coming down to The Currituck Club for better than 25 years and this property suits our needs very well. It is well maintained and furnished. There were a few small issues that Village took care of very quickly. We have always been very pleased with their customer service. We are planning on coming back next year, probably mid-April. Since I have three sons that come, one thing we always look for is a house with a pool table. Although this house has one, it could stand replacing. We adjusted the legs to make it level, but there is a high point in the middle of the table that makes it difficult to play a regulation game. Not complaining, just one thing that would make it perfect. Thanks again

We recently stayed at this beach house with our family and had an amazing time. The place was bright, super clean, and perfect for family fun. The game room was a hit, and there were cozy spots for chatting and watching TV and space for large group activities. The outdoor balcony was awesome for catching incredible sunsets every day. We also took advantage of the clubhouse amenities like pickleball, golf, basketball, and bingo. Highly recommend!

Thank you for such a beautiful home we made lots of memories in. The house is clean, easy to get to. Pool and hut tub were used everyday even tho it was cold out the week we stayed. One couch is confined then the last. This is our second time staying in Corolla and we love it! Can’t wait to come back again!

Absolutely gorgeous property in a great location. So much space to spread out- we could’ve invited another family to stay with us and there would’ve been plenty of space. The community that the house is in has pretty much every immediate need- grocery store, restaurants, and shops- easy beach access across the street. Would love to stay here again!

Place was absolutely beautiful and our group had an amazing time. House was spotless and the area was gorgeous. However, we had issues trying to get the gate code as it was not initially provided by village at check in. We figured that once we got it working we would be all set but every time we left the development the home was in we could not get back inside as code would not work. With that being said, that was the only caveat of our stay. Otherwise, I would fully recommend booking with village realty again!

We had a wonderful extended weekend over New Year's 2024. The house is fantastic. Well appointed kitchen, plenty of space and fun for adults... hot tub, pool table and shuffleboard. Quiet, gated community with beautiful scenery (especially at sunset).

The house was amazing. There was more than enough for us to social in communal areas of the home and for privacy to recharge. There was more than enough cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. We all love the pool table and Pac-Man arcade video game. Last but not least, Joseph, Ruby & Alyssa from Village Realty were super responsive to our needs and were able to resolve any concerns amd/or questions that we had. It was an awesome time in an awesome home and town for the holidays. Hopefully, we'll be back.

Very beautiful spacious home. Easy to settle in and enjoy the space having family time. Well stocked kitchen. Appreciated the games and other rec room items. Especially loved the saltwater pool with different seating levels! Yard and other sitting areas in & out were great! Well planned smaller room by kitchen (good for baby to keep safe too). Loved watching the sunrise from there & the balcony... then by evening sunset on the upper frt porch! Just perfect! Location to South Beach very close. Bike riding fun in Currituck Club; fitness & tennis enjoyed by guests too. Close to Timbuck II shopping, restaurants & sound watersports. Will come back again!

Shell's By The Seashore was a fantastic property. There was so much room for our family of 10 and the layout was perfect for us. Several different sitting rooms to get away and the large open upstairs area to all get together. We all loved the downstairs game room, the pool and large yard and sunsets from the front porch. Beautiful home and neighborhood! Only issue-the pictures online didn't show blinds in any bedroom or bathroom and I called to check about this prior to our visit. Surprisingly, I was told there were none- so the week before we arrived we worked to figure the window sizes to come up with temporary coverings to bring only to arrive and find out there were indeed blinds on the bedroom and bathroom windows. Happy surprise, but could have saved us time and worry if we knew ahead of time.

House was beautiful! Plenty of space to retreat to. Couch on 2nd floor was incredibly comfy! Video game on the first floor was a huge hit! If you get the chance, take advantage of the top floor deck overlooking the sound and catch a sunset. Picture perfect views.
