Our family LOVED our stay. The house was immaculate and the location was terrific. The resort and all of the activities provided for the kids and the entire family was so much fun. Loved everything about the house
only thing I would have done
differently would be to rent it later in the summer as it was too cool to use the beautiful pool. Great layout, easy to get to, lots to see and do in the area. The eagles nest in the backyard was a great addition as we had never seen eagles in the wild and they were right THERE!- Posted: 5/25/2024
Irish Tides was a beautiful home and has a great location. The only issues we ran into were with some of the smart home features witch failed to work which then caused a few other systems to fail (main floor TV volume control). Village Realty did a great job of getting people out to assist and keeping me updated on status. We also had to rent a grill ($65) because the one at the house was inoperable but was replaced by the end of the week. Otherwise great vacation and love the Corolla Light amenities.- Posted: 7/11/2023
We had amazing days in the OBX filled with beach time, crabbing, dolphin watching, biking, shopping, turtle hunting, lighthouse viewing, kite flying etc. This house was the perfect refuge at the end of these wonderful activities. The pool was so welcoming for both kids and adults in our group. I spent every morning on the upper deck sipping coffee and enjoying the nesting birds. I also enjoyed a few restful naps on the variety of hammocks on the middle deck. Inside the home, we all enjoyed many evenings in the large great room/ dining room/ kitchen space. This was the perfect space to share the days adventures and decompress with a family meal. Absolutely can`t wait to come back!- Posted: 7/11/2023
Mother Nature was NOT on our side but our rental had plenty of things to keep us entertained. The location is awesome. You have the bay on one side and the ocean on the other. This beautiful home gives you plenty of space to stead out or hang out together. The kitchen was stocked with any kind of cooking equipment you may need. The weather wasn’t great but our stay was.
