You'll have pleasant dreams when you drift off in the hammock at this delightful beach cottage. With the peaceful surroundings yet all the amenities of the Corolla Light Resort and only a short walk to the beach, Dunewood will easily become your vacation home of choice. Other amenities include a private hot tub, jetted tub, TVs, Blu-ray player, WiFi, wood-burning fireplace, hammock, fish cleaning table, and charcoal grill.

Corolla Light Resort owners and guests receive preferred golf rates at The Currituck Club in Corolla and The Seascape Golf Club in Kitty Hawk!

Dunewood is a very cozy home, and we really enjoyed our stay. It is in a great location, has a lovely deck, and comfy beds. The kitchen was missing some basic essentials, and the gas grill needed a good cleaning, but these are just minor issues. We are looking forward to staying in this home again soon. Also, the agent I spoke with about the rental was super friendly.

Very relaxing time. Nice clean house with some amenities to get you started. My only complaint was we had a boat and no where did it say trailers have to be under the house. Security told us it had to leave but the next day we called and explained our situation and how far we traveled and the fact that it was off season they let it stay. I guess the Karen neighbor reported us! Very relaxing house

Perfect Layout & Amenities
With group of boisterous teens, this house was perfect because it gave them space to be loud and silly while others wanted to read or rest. Great place. The realty company was not responsive by phone but did respond to the guest portal.

I just wanted to leave the positive and negatives maybe help a future family. The positives: The location you can walk to the club house and beach without an issue. We have toddlers so the bathtubs were a plus and the twin beds. The home did have high ceilings and the lay out was nice. The biggest positive is the community , it has everything you need. The trolly system and pool area are awesome. Ok, I hate to mention the negatives but there were a few. As a mom with toddlers the banister is awful the kids could have fell right through the openings. Also every cabinet is full so no place for your groceries. The home is aged the kitchen and furmiture is out dated, although the beds were comfy. Also the house backs up to woods so its covered in spiders. My biggest complaint is the banister and sofa. We did have a couple issues but they were fixed right away.

Good Location, 5 minute walk to beach. Lots of chairs on decks. We had a couple cool days so hot tub was excellent. Large kitchen with everything that is needed. Yes we would come back.

CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Literally the cleanest beach house I’ve ever stepped foot in. The neighborhood has so much to. Restaurants within walking distance, great playground, basketball court, tons of sidewalks for biking. Massive pool area. We will definitely return to this neighborhood in future vacations.

Great family time
We enjoyed our time in Corolla. The house is located in a very good area. Walking distance to the beach, pool and nature walk to the sound. We were disappointed that we weren't told we wouldn't have toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher soap, sponges or dish rags. Also, we had to wait until the next day to get our pool wrist bands. We arrived at 4 but didn't find out that information until after the realty office was closed. It would be nice to have the wrist bands and parking passes at the house when people arrive.
