The kitchen was well stocked, the renovations were well done and the outdoor shower was one of the cleanest and nicest I’ve seen in Duck!! The home was cozy and we enjoyed our week there. "Oh Captain, My Captain! - A Captain’s Tale was a fantastic place to stay for our family - top to bottom. The property looked like the photos and was even better. "Beautiful quaint home! - Our first stay in Duck was wonderful. This house was very clean, has a well-stocked kitchen, and is tastefully updated. We enjoyed eating breakfast out on the screened in porch listening to the ocean waves. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable as well. We will definitely consider this house again if we come back to Duck."

"This house was perfect for my family of four and exceeded my expectations! The entire rental process, check in and check out went smoothly. The rental company responded promptly when contacted. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed and more to prepare meals! The location is perfect, a short walk into town and an even shorter walk to the beach. The provided beach chairs, umbrella and wagon was a nice addition to not have to bring from home. Can't wait to come back next year!"

"Labor day beach weekend - We loved our stay at this property in Duck. The house is a short walk to the beach. The house was very clean and had all the appliances we needed. It also had some beach chairs, umbrella, and even a few boogie boards you can use. We brought our own beach stuff, but its there if needed. There is also a beach wagon in the laundry room to help you cary your stuff to the beach. We really enjoyed having coffee on the screened in porch in the mornings. The house is located by many restaurants that are a short drive away. We recommend Aqua, Sunset Bar and Grill and Duck Donuts. My family and I all agreed we would definitely stay here again."
