Fiddlin' Around offers old and new charm in this cute 4 bedroom home located on the oceanside in Duck. Enjoy the awesome sunsets on the sound from the deck. You are just a short walk to the beautiful beaches in Duck where you can surf, swim, collect shells and maybe even some sea glass or just relax and take in the ocean breeze and you are only a short walk to the sound side access. Plenty of space to enjoy some delicious meals or just relax and have some movie time.

The Town of Duck offers a beautiful boardwalk with local restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities. The Village Table and Tavern is within walking distance and offers delicious food and awesome views.

Great space, comfortable and once the heat ran overnight, it warmed the place nicely. In the winter, the heat should be turned up ahead of arrival - thermostat set to 55, only got to 59 by the time we were going to sleep. A little chilly. Minor issue - could have used more than one tiny bar of soap per bathroom. One for sink and one for shower would be nice.

The house was very charming and just what we were looking for. It was a short walk to the beach (about 5 min) however it was challenging to find sound access for paddleboarding. Would recommend!

Charcoal grill

A gas grill would be a bonus. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

This is a very nice place to stay. However make sure you bring an iron as one was not provided or an ironing board. Plenty of room to move around. Kitchen well stocked just need to bring your own condiments (sugar salt pepper coffee filters) 10 minute walk to the beach. Bring a flashlight at night because the road is very dark. Fourth bedroom is a loft so if you have a light sleeper they may want to take another room. Would stay again!

Farther from the beach than we would have liked and interior lighting very dim. Otherwise, props for cleanliness, extra stars for sunsets over the sound and for communication with property manager.

Ducky in Duck!

Our group had a lovely stay in this Duck Property. The house is slightly dated but had all the amenities we needed. There were absolutely no pantry items such as salt, pepper, oil, etc - but given the covid situation we completely understand. Just a heads up for anyone traveling here to be sure to bring any items you need for cooking, including all your spices. Walk to the beach from the house was very close - and Wow is the beach spectacular! Gorgeous sunsets too. The island was super crowded, so give yourself ample time to get around. All in all a fantastic trip that we will always remember.
