Shady Dippin is located oceanside in the Gull's Flight neighborhood of Duck, Relax in the new 12 x 24 heated pool and hot tub. The beautiful beaches of Duck are only a short walk away. Plenty of space for everyone, even your furry friends, to relax and enjoy their OBX vacation. Venture out to the boardwalk in Duck for great restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities.

House location is a short walk to the beach and the pool and hot tub are great. Kitchen includes all the basics. House doesn't have carpet so sound travels. We had preschoolers staying with us, so when they were up, everyone was up. Might not be specific to this house!

Shady Dippin was a very nice home with an efficient layout. Close enough to walk to the beach. Well stocked kitchen for a vacation stay, very comfortable for eight people. Suggestion for those staying to bring a canopy for the pool area for more shade and privacy. Like the artificial turf at the pool. Cleaning and maintenance staff kept everything top shelf. Thank you. A lovely home

Very nice home with sweet neighbors. The house was clean, the heated pool was fantastic, and it’s a very short walk to the beach. The neighbors gave our dog treats and it’s overall a quiet, friendly neighborhood to stay in.

Great house, spacious kitchen, living room and dining room. Pool and hot tub were perfect and the walk to the beach is so short. There was also a great selection of beach gear to utilize. Finally, there was Netflix and other streaming services so the kids could watch their shows while winding down for bed!

Great house and a great location near the beach. The beach access is literally a couple houses down the street. They provide beach chairs and a handy buggy to haul things to the beach, and there is both a park grill and a Weber grill for grilling. There is parking for 4 cars without blocking anyone in, making it easy to come and go if you have adult children coming in from multiple directions and driving separately.There are 3 king rooms and one with a bunk set and futon. The top floor has the kitchen, dining room, and a couple couches and has plenty of seating for the whole crew and a large TV. The kitchen is quite large and well equipped, and has both a regular coffee pot and a Keurig. There is access to a top level deck that has no access to the lower levels, so it is great if you have a dog to be able to let them hang out on the deck without worrying about gates or doors being closed. Part of the top level deck is covered, so you have the choice of sun or shade and there is lots of seating and a couple tables on the deck as well. The pool is a great place to cool off ... it is not huge so you won`t be swimming any laps but it is a great place to lounge around and take a splash to cool off. There is no shade around the pool, so if you want that, I recommend bringing a pop up canopy.

We enjoyed the house. This is our second time in it. Repairs request were carried out with the exception of the door handle on the sliding door in the family room. Still has not been fixed. How often does the pool get vacuumed?

We loved our stay at Shady Dippin'! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, serving and dining and making cocktails and two blenders for frozen drinks. The layout of the top floor was perfect for gathering for coffee and meals, and the attached deck was great for hanging out as well. There were TVs in every bedroom and in the living room. Some of us had to work remotely a few days and the loft upstairs from the main floor was a perfect setting for that. The owners had a small bookshelf for beach reads and a basket of puzzles. Access to the beach was easy and close! Great place!
