Life Is Good was thoughtfully furnished by Bert and John Jacobs, founders of the popular lifestyle brand Life Is Good. Exquisite finishes and high-end details create an atmosphere of coastal luxury. Wood laminate flooring flows throughout the entire condo, and the soaring vaulted ceilings boast exposed beams that were milled from a 200-year-old barn in Asheville, North Carolina. An open-concept layout in the great room makes the most of the fabulous views and opens up onto a private waterfront terrace with hot tub. It's the perfect place to end the day with a drink in hand while watching the sunset. Back inside, get dinner started in the gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliance and gorgeous soapstone countertops.
Every day you'll wake up to a beautiful water view from the primary suite, which leads out to a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Two additional bedrooms will comfortably accommodate family and friends, and both include an ensuite bath for plenty of privacy. Bed and bath linens are always included at no extra charge, and the beds will be made with fresh sheets and pillowcases prior to your arrival.
After a day at the beach, you can come home to Waves Village and have everything you'll need within the resort. Amenities include a 70' soundfront pool, Good Winds Restaurant & Bar, and a coffee shop. Best of all, you'll have direct access to the Pamlico Sound for world-class watersport adventures. From kiteboarding and kayaking to surfing and stand up paddleboarding, Kitty Hawk Kites is onsite and ready to assist with equipment rentals, lessons and tours.
Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay.

There is a few things I want to mention this is a great place to stay but the elevator was turned off and not working. My father in law has heat issues and it was difficult for him, not sure why it was not working. The 2nd issue was the tubs do not drain which is most likely an issue with the complex not the unit. The host is responsive and the unit is a great unit. I did give it 5 stars and would recommend booking this location and will book again if in the area.- Posted: 1/26/2025

Place was very clean, the views were great especially since it’s on the 4th floor, not too bad of a walk to the beach, pretty good location, there is a couple restaurants and shops beside the place which was nice.- Posted: 8/20/2024

We had a wonderful stay at the Village. Condo was beautiful with loads of space and very well appointed with everything we needed. Spectacular view of the sound and of the sunsets. It was also perfectly located next to Kitty Hawk Kites where we enjoyed Kite Surfing and E-Foils. Great restaurants right next door or in close proximity. This place is gorgeous, we enjoyed getting to see gorgeous views from the sounds from the hot tub or balcony. I did message before booking asking if the pool was open and they told me it would be open after April 1st. Then during our stay it wasn't open and I messaged them to learn it was a community pool and didn't open until mid May and that was a bit disappointing, because I really enjoy swimming.- Posted: 5/13/2024

This was my second time at Waves Village. We loved our stay here. I was able to kite right downstairs every day while my non kiting wife relaxed on the gorgeous deck. The house is pretty tricked out for an extended stay although if you plan on cooking, bring everything... salt, pepper, condiments etc. Would definitely come back here again.- Posted: 4/15/2024
