Everlasting Moon is a charming home situated right on the ocean for incredible views and direct access to the beach. Renovated inside and out, this classic cottage has been transformed into an updated coastal haven. The main living area is located on the top level so everyone can enjoy the spectacular views of the Atlantic. It leads out to an oceanfront deck overlooking the pristine dune line of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Head up to the loft and the rooftop deck for an an even better view! All four bedrooms are located together on the mid-level, and the two queen rooms provide deck access for waking up to the sunrise. Bed and bath linens are always included at no extra charge, and the beds will be made with fresh sheets and pillowcases prior to your arrival. Everlasting Moon is pet-friendly, so you won't have to leave your furry family members behind.
The town of Rodanthe is the ideal setting for a laid back, slower-paced vacation while still having conveniences and dining options nearby. If you need a break from the beach, take a trip back in time at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Museum. Reel in the catch of the day from the Hatteras Island Fishing Pier, or enjoy the other side of the island with a variety of watersport activities in the Pamlico Sound.
Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay.

Spectacular views!

Lovely spot to stay right on the beach.
Like most rental rentals in this area, I would highly recommend bringing your own blankets for the bed and basic kitchen items if you plan to cook ( salt, pepper, foil, coffee, coffee filters) overall super happy with this stay the house is beautiful and has wonderful views right on the beach. I also appreciated all of the games in the house as well. I would definitely recommend staying here!- Posted: 1/20/2025

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous home, located right on the beach. If you are looking for some serenity, peace and quiet on your OBX holiday, this is the vacation rental for you. With the closure of the Rodanthe fishing pier (5 min walk from the house) shore fishing is amazing. I caught the largest Drum in my life (54 inches) directly in front of the house. Inside is updated and comfortable. View from the rooftop deck is amazing. I will certainly be staying at this location again.- Posted: 11/8/2024

Beyond exceptional!! The beautiful view, the walkable area/neighborhood, the amenities, the easy beach access - all perfect. You can see the sunrise and the sunset from this home. Loved that we could bring the dog - it felt like a home away from home! The balconies are incredible and the kitchen stocked with every dish/appliance you could need. Books & games available as well. Had a fabulous time at Everlasting Moon. An incredible 2 weeks of weather was an added bonus. House was very clean upon arrival and is obviously well cared for. Hope she will be there for a long time. Only suggestion would be to provide some wine glasses…kitchen stocked with any else one would need. I loved leaning over from the bed in the morning and peeking out the window to check out the sunrise. Super views.- Posted: 10/13/2024
