Description
Brigadoon is a charming oceanside home situated just three lots back from the sparkling Atlantic. Guests will enjoy easy access to the beach and panoramic ocean views from the top level great room. Bed and bath linens are always included at no extra charge, and the beds will be made with fresh sheets and pillowcases prior to your arrival. The town of Rodanthe is the ideal setting for a laid back, slower-paced vacation while still having conveniences and dining options nearby. If you need a break from the beach, take a trip back in time at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Museum. Reel in the catch of the day from the Hatteras Island Fishing Pier, or enjoy the other side of the island with a variety of watersport activities in the Pamlico Sound.
Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay.

Perfect location, the beach is right there! We didn’t use the bunkbed room, but the other beds were so comfortable. 3 full bathrooms is always a plus. Deck views facing every direction -so many stars there’s very little light pollution. Sunrise and sunsets views from the decks. Outdoor shower to rinse off sandy feet. Only thing I would add is the key pad to get in the house for Airbnb use is on the second deck. First floor is used for storage. Only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and baby bar of soap-plan accordingly. Sponge and 3oz of dish soap in kitchen. Which is typical and not an issue, I always bring my own. We loved our stay and look forward to staying again next year.- Posted: 11/8/2024

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very clean, spacious, and in a lovely neighborhood. It has a great view of the ocean and a very short walk to the beach (1/2 block). We spent most of our time in the kitchen and living room area because it is so roomy, bright, and comfortable. The huge decks are a bonus to lay out or to enjoy the evenings.
