You can truly be "On Holiday" at this beautiful home located in Old Nags Head Place. The outdoor entertaining has so much to offer, from your very own private saltwater pool and hot tub, to the tiki bar, outdoor ping pong table and corn hole game. Inside you can enjoy the rec room with a pool table and wet bar with full-size refrigerator and microwave. Gather in the great room for movies or great dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. Take in the beautiful sunrises from the top-level sun deck and catch a view of the ocean.
The beautiful OBX beach is just a short walk as well as the Nags Head Pier where you can enjoy a great meal or fishing or head to Jockey's Ridge State Park. Try out a local favorite the Surfin' Spoon, a local frozen yogurt bar that is just a short walk away, you'll be glad you did!

We had THE best time at On Holiday. It was a very well maintained property that exceeded all of our expectations. A very short walk to sweet treats, Nags Head Pier, and to two public access points. For a quick bite or some adult libations, it is a hop and skip to Lucky 12 Tavern and Captain Andy's pier bar, or the pier if you enjoy fishing. Our family spent almost every morning enjoying the sunrises from the top deck and evenings soaking in the sunsets from the front porch. Our girls also spent almost all of their time in the pool (with convenient seats for the adults) and the adults enjoyed the hot tub with a privacy wall every evening. And, most importantly, the mattresses were ALL amazingly comfortable which is something I cannot say about many houses we have rented. The only thing we were counting on was the beach cart, which was not present when we stayed. We will definitely be booking this house again!- Posted: 8/1/2023

This was the perfect home for our family during our recent two week stay on the Outer Banks. The location is good with easy access to the beach. The house itself was spotless and the best equipped property weve ever stayed in while vacationing at OBX. We would love to return next year!- Posted: 7/11/2023

On Holiday is a very lovely home. I agree w other reviewer that kitchen could use updating, but thats primarily a matter of aesthetics, as the kitchen was just fine for us. It is also well equipped with high quality small appliances cooking equipment and utensils. In addition, the entire home has finishes and decor which put it a step above your typical beach rental. It was very clean and well maintained and plenty large enough for our party of 8. It would be awesome to have direct beach access out the back, but I dont know if thats possible given the property lines. The house has multiple porches and decks and durable outdoor furniture for relaxing on cool nights. On Holiday was a great place to stay and well worth the price.- Posted: 7/11/2023

Nicely equipped beach house for sure, clean and conveniently located to the beach. This was our 2nd time renting On Holiday. We love the place, needs a little updating in the kitchen and backyard though. Newer stainless appliances would be a huge improvement. Owner needs to get rid of the weeds and bushes behind the pool and maybe make the pool deck bigger. The horseshoe pit is non functional. Also, need to replace the basketball hoop as well. Although the weather was not the best the week we stayed at On Holiday we had a fantastic vacation because we chose this house. We had 3 teenage girls and 5 adults. This house kept everyone entertained even though it rained most of the week. The hot tub was great on the cooler days and we are all much better at playing pool, ping pong, and corn hole. We rented fishing poles for a day and fished off the Nags Head Pier which was just a short walk away. The Ice cream shop is practically in the backyard. There are so many things to do within a short walk or drive. The owners have left nothing out. The house was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed.
