From the decks of the 'Flip Flop Inn' you will enjoy the outstanding views and roaring surf of the Atlantic ocean as well as the gorgeous sunsets over Jockey's Ridge. Our beach cottage is well appointed with stylish and comfortable furnishings, three master suites, plenty of deck furniture on the covered and sun decks and a large variety of games, puzzles and books for family time. The well equipped kitchen will satisfy even gourmet cooks. You will also find a high chair and Pack'n'Play. Watch unforgettable sunsets over Jockey's Ridge. Kick off your flip flops in the game room while shooting a game of pool the billiards table or soak up the sun by the private pool. Maybe cap off a fun filled day at the beach with a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

(Guest will cross the 2 lane Beach Road to access the ocean). 10' x 20' private pool, hot tub, rec room with pool table and wet bar. 2 refrigerators, WiFi, TVs, DVDs, outside there is a charcoal grill and an outside shower. Excellent views of both the ocean and Jockeys Ridge.

The location is great! The house was very clean. Beds were comfy. Everything was there that we needed. The house was quiet, despite proximity to highway. A few issues; toilet paper holder broken in upstairs bathroom. The master bathroom did not allow for hot water, so took lukewarm showers (appears lever was jerryrigged to do that). Pool could use more lounge chairs. The house could use more “throw blankets” as well for the colder evenings. But, lovely home! Would come again!!!- Posted: 10/19/2024

Everything was clean and orderly. The house was awesome and we had plenty of room. The pool was well kept. A few minor things needing attention are as follows: *Could use some new skillets *More silverware would be nice *Need pairing knives to cut veggies and fruit *Knives need to be sharpened *Sink stopper does not hold water These are not major issues, just some recommended things needing attention.- Posted: 7/27/2024

Great stay
Loved our stay at Flip Flop - great location for our teens to access ice cream shops and beach. Well appointed kitchen with plenty of serveware. Would only recommend some bath mats- or bring your own!- Posted: 4/5/2024

Cold quick getaway
I stayed with my teen and adult children. It’s very spacious. It needed new carpet and a deep clean but overall was clean. Too cold to enjoy amenities but the pool and hot tub would be great in warmer weather! Everything you need to make a meal. We look forward to coming back!- Posted: 3/25/2024

We Come Every Year & Love The Stay . The House Is Well Kept & Plenty of Places To See & Eat & OWENS Is Our Special Night Out For Birthday Witch Us When We Come , When The Kids Where Young We Stay In Corolla Now They Are Adults WE Have More Shopping & Eating Out So We Stay Nags Head Or Kitty Hawk We Love ??
