We had a great vacation in OBX. A couple of issues with the house(resolved).

Loved every minute. House was great. Kids love the pool and of course we love OBX a lot! Been coming down for over 50 years. Never consider anywhere else. Thanks for everything!!!

Our stay in Nags Head was awesome. The house was adequate in size and all necessary accessories were well stored. Everything was in a short distance to get to, great restaurants, shops, parasailing, fishing, grocery store, etc. Thank you again!

Love the house. The bathroom door on the top floor sticks really bad and the screen is broken on the back of the house.

Another reviewer stated that "Spindle on deck is broken" this was addressed as we did not see this on our stay. The location is great as it is very close to 2 beach access points. You cross the street and it is 3 houses down to get to the beach access (very short walk maybe 2 minutes if that). Overall, the stay was great. I would recommend sharpening the knives as they were getting dull; however, we ate out for lunch and dinner, so we didn't need to use the knives as it was just an observation. All of the rooms were large enough to hold multiple suitcases and a pack-n-play for a 1 year old. During the summer months there is someone that I think is employed by the town as we saw him take out the trash/recycling bins to the road and putting them back the next day. Would recommend staying here and I'm surprised there are not more reviews for this house.

Overall, this location is great. Very close to beach access (cross the road then 3 houses down to beach access). Several restaurants nearby, food lion and harris teeter also very close. All of the bedrooms were of great size (all of them were big enough to have our luggage and a pack-n-play for a 1 year old). The pool and hot tub were great. At first glance we thought the pool was small, but we compared it with the neighbors and it was the same size. A suggestion is to have an outside clock so you can see what time it is. Beds were comfortable, pillows could be better as they were very flat. Suggestion is to have hand towels by the kitchen sink as we had to use the towels that were supposed to be for the bathroom. The kitchen cookware needs updating as some had burnt spots on the pans. The carpets and tile needs to be deep cleaned as walking around in socks they became very dirty/black at the end of the day. There were some items that needed to be fixed as they were broken upon arrival. The door frame to the game room is cracked in multiple places and I think this is due to the door knob turning mechanism not properly working (door knob would be unlocked, but you could not turn to open the door). In the shared bathroom (blue colored bathroom) the toilet paper rod was missing. The sliding door on the outside the door handle was broken and on the ground. The sliding door tracks on the bottom had mold and water in them (as it has been raining there during our stay). The 2nd floor deck gate hinges appeared to be rusted and the gate was not attached. These were all very minor things that needed to be fixed or suggestions to make this place even better! We enjoyed our time and would stay here again in the future.

This house was perfect for our family vacation! It can be difficult to find a place that works for everyone and this house and location kept us all happy. It’s just across the road from the beach access for running out to catch the sunrise at the last minute. The rec room, pool, hot tub, and TVs in every room kept my teens occupied. Some stores, restaurants, and ice cream places are within walking distance and lots more just a short drive away. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, small appliances, and whatever you might need for food prep. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and bath towels provided. We spent a lot of time just relaxing at the house and there was plenty of space to spread out. The property manager answered all of my questions when I called them directly and communicated with us as needed before and during our stay. I highly recommend this property!

Everything about The Legacy was amazing! We were a fairly large party (4 adults, 3 teenagers, and 1 kid), and the house fit us just right for our week stay. The teenagers all loved the game room and pool (and the adults loved that they weren`t on screens all week!) The house was well stocked, including a blender and a crockpot, and the beds were very comfortable. One of my favorite things was being able to watch the sunrise over the beach from the front deck, and then watching it set from the back deck. We really loved that the beach was a 5 minute walk away and shopping and attractions were an easy drive. It was a wonderful week, and we will definitely be back!

Was an excellent house for an impromptu week-long get together with family and friends... kitchen was well stocked (standard coffee pot), seating upstairs was great for relaxing, playing games and eating, beds were comfortable, walk to the beach was totally tolerable and the house location at MP10 was close to everything we got into during our stay which happened to also be Bike Week! Will definitely keep this house on my list for off-season renting in the future!!

I loved this beach house. It was so close to the beach. It was perfect for our small family. The pool was small but we were glad we had one . We had a few small problems the first day but Village reality fixed them immediately. They were the best. It was nice sitting on top deck watching the traffic drive by on the beach road. It was close to grocery store etc .
