This beautiful, historic home located in the Historic Loop of Nags Head has all the old charm of days gone by, paired with all the modern conveniences of today. Enjoy wide porches and decks complete with rocking chairs, along with your own private walkway to the beach. If work calls while you are here, imagine sitting in your little office by the sea with your laptop, gazing at the ocean and beach. Life doesn't get much better than that! There’s plenty of room for everyone to gather for delicious meals, movie nights, or simply chatting and creating those unforgettable OBX memories.

The space includes a bonus room located on the lower level with a king bed and double bed, plus a full bath, making it a perfect retreat for extra guests or family members. Additionally, a separate bungalow at the entrance to the property features another king bed and a twin bed along with its own full bath, offering even more accommodations for everyone.

You’ll also find many great local restaurants close by; Blue Moon Beach Grill is within walking distance, right across the street. There are plenty of local shops and family-friendly activities nearby, ensuring you have everything you need for an amazing beach vacation.

Pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Fireplace not available for guest use.

Old historic Nags Head home with some nice upgrades and modernizations. We were 2 couples with our dogs. Porch chairs were comfortable front and back porches. Very dog friendly with porches and gates. Easy access and walk to the beach. Nice beach in front of the house. Good location in Nags Head with stores , restaurants and grocery near by. Comfortable beds. Small 1 room cottage would be good for kids. Overall very comfortable and well cared for property by the owners.

Loved the location and the deck was fantastic. The only issue we had was the bottom floor shower filled up with brown water on the first full day we were there, which was not inviting to take a shower in it all week. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

We have stayed in this cottage for many weeks, the most being 5 weeks at one time. We love the old cottage and would not trade it for a new cottage.

Love this house for a stay with extended family. The basement, the upstairs, and the cottage are 3 areas where a family can have some privacy while still enjoying time together in the common space. The porch is the best part of this house- it's big, with a great view, and options for sun, shade and protection on a windy day. I also love the historic cottage feel, and the beach is much less crowded at this milepost, as there are no public accesses nearby. It's all in all wonderful. We have come back now for 3 years in a row and plan to continue renting this house every year.

We loved our stay at "It's Beach Time," a historic home with an ocean front view. It was cool to learn more about the historic home online and through pictures in the house too.
