We absolutely loved our stay at “The Barn” We love the older style look of the home that screams you’re in the Outer Banks. The fact that you’re in walking distance to the beach and the pier is a plus for my family. It was a little cool this visit so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool but we were able to enjoy the hot tub and it too was nice and private. The house is small but cozy and comfortable. The guest house is a very nice addition and I look forward to using it on a future visit when we have more family with us. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Overall we loved this place and look forward to coming back.

Had a wonderful fall break trip! The house was perfect for us and very conveniently located, right across from Avalon Pier! The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed! Too chilly for the pool but the hot tub was nice! Wish the bathroom situation was a little different with only a half bath on the top floor where all of the bedrooms. But overall a great house and experience in the Outer Banks! Would definitely recommend!
