The public beach access at 1st Street is only a 4-minute bike ride away, and also provides free parking for guests who'd prefer to drive. After a day of fun in the sun, head back to the house for a soak in the hot tub or movie night downstairs in the den.

Situated at Milepost 7, Best Kept Secret is truly in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. You'll be within a mile radius of grocery stores, a movie theater, mini golf and fantastic dining options including The Jolly Roger and Goombays Grille & Raw Bar. The Wright Brothers National Memorial is also nearby - you can even get there on bikes using the bike path that connects 1st Street to Colington Road.

TV SERVICE: This property offers Smart TVs throughout the home with streaming services. Please note that cable/satellite service is not provided.

Pets allowed - dogs only. No smoking/vaping. CANCELATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO Village Realty in writing. In case of cancelation, all monies will be refunded less a $150 cancelation fee if you cancel 31 or more days prior to arrival. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancelations within 14 days of arrival will not be subject to a refund.

The house is fine, although a bit dated. Some of the bedding and throw pillows are old and stained. The linens are provided from a linen service, so the owner can't be faulted for some stains on the linens, although we asked for replacements, and the manager never responded. A modest investment could move this property to a 9 or 10, but it is competitively priced, in a good location, and is quite large. We enjoyed ourselves.

This beach house is perfectly located near our favorite stores and restaurants and just a short drive to the beach access. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and appliances. There were a few baby items available for use that weren’t listed in the description: high chair, pack n play, baby bath tub. No beach gear provided.

The kitchen was small but functional. The beds were not as comfortable as home, but were not too bad. Otherwise this house was perfect for us. The hot tub was a very nice amenity we were not expecting to use but ended up loving. Big open dining and family area were perfect for us to spend some quality time together on vacation. Big enough for all of us. Very close to grocery and other stores. We would stay here again. Thank you for hosting us!

What a nice place to relax
The location was just a short walk to the beach. Conveniences all nearby (I.e, grocery, restaurants, putt - putt). The house was roomy and very clean. My only complaint was the beds. Need to update them. Not super comfy. The neighborhood was wonderful! The management group was very responsive on any little items that came up. I would stay here again.
