For a classic OBX experience and a throwback to simpler times, make The Pink House your next home away from home. This quaint and cozy cottage is brimming with history and vintage charm. Built in the 1960's and lovingly maintained, The Pink House still boasts the original exposed beam ceilings. Two screened porches - one in the front and a second on the back of the house - are perfect for outdoor living while being protected from the elements. Pets are welcome, so your fur babies can join you on your next trip to the Outer Banks!

When it's time to hit the beach, take a quick drive north to the Hayman Blvd beach access, which provides plenty of free parking. Sidewalks and nearby pedestrian crosswalks make it easy to explore the neighborhood on foot or by bike. Within a half mile radius you'll find Avalon Fishing Pier, the Front Porch Cafe, Wawa, Target, a movie theater and dining options including Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar and The Jolly Roger.

Can’t stay an entire week? The Pink House is available for short stays with flexible arrival/departure options. For guests who like to plan ahead, partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance. Choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

Pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Mini-split air conditioning (3 units).

"The pink house was clean and a very charming comfortable place. It is located a few blocks from public beach and on the main road but traffic noise is not noticeable inside. We had one minor plumbing issue but it was addressed immediately. The pink house is well equipped for cooking, I really appreciated the milk frother for my coffee! I had thought about packing mine, but I didn’t. Taking a walk to watch the sunset, go back to the house and have a glass of wine while listening to an album, so very relaxing. The very definition of a vacation!"

"This was our first vacation in several years and a welcome break. We didn't expect for the house to be right on Rt. 158, but most houses would be a challenge to get out on to or cross the road, no matter location. It is just the way things are down there. It is a small, solid house, very clean and well organized. It fit our needs well and it was in a good location to go and do things all over OBX. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!"
