The rental Unit, That's What Sea Said" was great. Loved the location. Loved the decor. Minor issues. Tension rod holding the shower curtain does not have tension any longer and simply balances on the tub surround. The tension bar and shower curtain fell on me as I was exiting the shower. No injuries, but alarming to be hit by the falling bar and curtain. Additionally, the bathtub is slow to drain. So you end up standing in dirty water while completing the shower. Lastly, and very minor, hot tub jets only operate on the side facing the sound. The jets facing the house do not function. But all-in-all, a very enjoyable time in this unit. Thank you.

This was such a lovely spot for an off-season getaway! The house appears to be newly remodeled and decorated in a soothing beach-inspired palette. Everything was sparkling clean on arrival. I really enjoyed the sunset views from the hot tub and my pup enjoyed chilling on the closed in deck and watching the world go by. I especially loved watching the herons and egrets fishing for their supper right outside. There is a terrific multi-use path that runs right past the property - perfect for biking, running, or walking the dog. This was such a wonderful and relaxing stay, I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat.

Beautiful house perfect for a girls getaway! The bay view was stunning, and the house was exactly as pictured. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in OBX.

Just spent a week at That’s What Sea Said with other half & our goldendoodle. The place was absolutely perfect. Had all the basic essentials, great location off main drag close to so many restaurants, parks, sites but still quiet & private to enjoy nightly sound sunsets overlooking the water from the decks. Comfy furniture & costal decor was excellent touch! One of the beds was very squeaky just sitting or any movement but still comfortable. Great yard for dog! Would encourage some additional reflectors on the kitty hawk bay club drive privacy rope. Not sure who controls it. 90% of time it was left down and coming in late one night barely saw someone had roped off and just missed scraping up vehicle. Would certainly stay again next time we need some R&R in OBX! Thank you!

Awesome house! Could stand to have more comfortable couch and chair in living room. But the view and the layout cannot be beat! Our dogs loved the access to the bike path for long walks. We loved how quiet it was yet close to everything.

Our stay at That's What Sea Said hit all of our expectations. Extremely clean and the hot tub was perfect for the off-season chill. The view of the bay was spectacular and the home felt nicely secluded from the more densely situated homes in the heart of the neighborhood. Easy access to everything we needed. We enjoyed walking to grab coffee at a cute café nearby each morning. The only extra we would have appreciated was a full length mirror somewhere for getting ready, but that's super minor. We would absolutely stay here again!

The home was in a great location and had everything we needed. Very open, airy, clean, and a great layout. We usually stay oceanside, however, this time we stayed sound front and are so glad we did. The view is fantastic and the hot tub was wonderful! The neighborhood was quiet yet close to all the area had to offer. We hope to stay again in the future.

What can I say….This property is the most relaxing location you could ever want. The house is so tastefully decorated. The location is close to everything you need. Don’t forget to try a Duck Donut or 2 or 12. You can’t go wrong with this. Everything was easy.

We absolutely loved our stay at “That’s what sea said”. The house is nicely updated and tastefully decorated. It was the perfect size for my husband & I, our toddler & two dogs. The views & sunsets are unmatched and the location was perfect for our needs. It’s right in the middle of everything you could want to do. We made daily trips up to the 4x4 beach in Corolla and enjoyed nights on local beaches ghost crabbing. We look forward to staying in this property for future years. If I had a few suggestions, it would be to update the decking and the mattresses are oddly noisy. Even with this, we had the most incredible week to complete our 8th year on the outer banks. Thank you for sharing your home with us to make memories in with our family!

This was our first time to the Outer Banks. The property was perfect and we had an amazing view of the water. The location worked for us as we went both north and south of Kill Devils Hill. So many places to see and things to do.

This is our second visit to this wonderful property ideally designed for the two of us. The setting is superb (the water views out of every window with spacious decks everywhere), the interior appears to be professionally designed -everything matches, all you need to live in style is included, in short it is a home to easily fall in love with. And the ease of booking this little slice of heaven through Village Realty makes it just perfect. When we think of the Outer Banks our first choice will be this charming home.

Beautiful sunsets and right size house for our family of 4. It’s a special location and is convenient to grocery, beach, attractions. House was clean, yard was mowed midweek. Porches were perfectly perched on the water but could use a pressure wash. Walking/biking path access was great for the dog.
