Property is to be expected and everything was as described. We even got an early checkin ! House was great for accommodating 9 adults and a child , pool and hot tub are a great bonus. Definitely satisfied with this rental (:- Posted: 8/31/2024

May, 2024 I cannot recommend a stay at Anchor Bay highly enough! A fantastic rental home at OBX! Here are the top positives from our stay: The home was very, very clean. This is really important to me in a rental home and I could not have been happier. The kitchen was well stocked. We had all of the cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. that we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable. Our entire party commented on how comfortable the beds were, The home is very convenient to the beach and to other amenities. We were also very close to the 4WD beach which is part of our considerations when choosing a rental at OBX. Again, this is a fantastic home and the owners have really tried to provide every amenity that could be needed during your stay.- Posted: 5/18/2024

Overall the property was great! Very comfortable for our family. The pool was a good size, really enjoyed the hot tub being under the deck for raining afternoons. The driveway is very steep which was either hard to tell in the pics before hand or I didn't pay good attention but its large and fit 4 suvs and a car with no problem. Only complaint would be the fridge in the kitchen is small and the stove took forever to heat up and boil. We would really consider staying again.- Posted: 6/1/2023

Anchor Bay was the perfect getaway! It was very clean, cozy & comfortable home for our family of 7 & 2 dogs. The homeowners did a fine job in decorating it & making it feel like a home away from home. The house was conveniently located near the best bagel shop (Lighhouse Bagel & Deli), supermarket & gift shops. I believe others who stay at this beautiful home will also be pleasantly surprised. The locals that live in this neighborhood are also very friendly & welcoming. Great place to walk dogs & catch a beautiful sunset!- Posted: 4/25/2023

Stayed here for a gals trip and had the BEST time! Such a beautiful home with tons of space/bedrooms, huge pool area, easy/quick access to grocery stores and awesome restaurants/bars. It was perfectly cleaned upon our arrival and exceeded our expectations of a stay. Will be recommending to my friends and family for their next stay in NC!- Posted: 1/29/2023

Peaceful, Clean, Great Location for Relaxing Vacation
The property was very clean and had all the essentials required for a great family vacation. It was so refreshing to have a kitchen that was fully stocked with appliances/dishes/etc. , nice furniture, TVs, etc. The location was very private (although a very steep driveway!) and close to all the great places (Grocery store, Outlets, Super Wings, Arcade, Minature Golf, and of course various public access to the beach). We loved that it had the keyless entry, so convenient (Although not too sure about the camera doorbell and if they like to see us come and go quite frequently)! Overall, great house and a good location. We thank you again for allowing our family to enjoy another great vacation. A few comments; The lower pool gate needs to be repaired as the entire gate board was not attached and unable to lock (was kind of concerned due to the kids we had traveling with us). Suggest that additional seating be provided on the decks other than just the picnic table, would be nice for lounging at night. The other big thing was that in early June the nights are still quite 'chilly' and although the pool had a heater it was told to us that it had been turned off earlier in the season. I STRONGLY suggest that this needs to be reconsidered. The pool was so cold during the evening (as the sun went down as the pool at this location is shaded) and at night it was unusable as kids were unable to enjoy the evening and night swims that they often loved while on vacation.- Posted: 6/28/2022
