During the summer months, getting to the beach is easy with the complimentary trolley and beach valet services (Memorial Day thru Labor Day). The nearby trolley stop with gazebo is located just steps away in the cul-de-sac at the end of the street. Once you arrive at the beach, you'll be greeted by a valet who can assist you with carrying all of your gear. But the beach is just the beginning! The Currituck Club offers a variety of other recreation options that will give everyone in your group something to look forward to, including five community pools located throughout the community. The Fitness Center is the hub of all activities in the Currituck Club and provides guests with year-round amenities, making Once Upon A Tide an ideal choice for off-season visits.

Once Upon A Tide: remodeled kitchen, updated appliances, pool with excellent filter that even after Idalia heavy winds blowing debris the pool was clean, other than area rugs no carpet so perfect for sandy beach vacation, pool furniture in great condition, appreciate the owners extras for making this a great beach rental.- Posted: 9/1/2023
This house and neighborhood has EVERYTHING! Absolutely loved our stay here. My only complaint would be the front exterior outlet by the garage not working, even after maintenance came by. We rented a golf cart for the week and the outlet not working made it annoying to charge.- Posted: 7/1/2023
This house has been tastefully updated and maintained. The pictures are unable to capture how beautiful this home is. It was a home away from home. The kitchen was well stocked if you plan to cook. The screened-in porch is relaxing, the pool was perfect for cooling down. Conveniently close to the beach entrance. We rode our bikes through the neighborhood almost every day. There was an issue with the downstairs toilet which was addressed immediately by the management company. We look forward to staying here again.- Posted: 8/1/2020
