NH06: Ocean's Edge

This property was perfect for my annual girl getaway....it was clean, the furniture was updated, the kitchen was adequate and the sunrises and sunsets are easily accessible. The parking is very tight but other than that, it's a great property and I couldn't say enough nice words about how welcoming the staff were including the extra touches from the agents and the housekeeping staff. I think we had one of the best experiences with Village in several years.

The distance from the house to the beach is amazing as are the views from the decks. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for our large group. The big dining room table was great for eating and playing games. My only suggestion would be to add more comfortable seating in the downstairs area with the pool table for a second area for people to hang out.

Even though we stayed in December, the distance from the house to the beach was so close. The views from the decks were beautiful. The great thing about this house was all the bedrooms and bathrooms to fit our group of 18. The ice maker was a plus! This house would be perfect in the summer to enjoy the beach and the pool.

House has a great location with nice beach acess. Indoors is spacious. Property mgmt was responsive when we reported 2 broken chairs on arrival. Main suggestions for upgrades: the miniature camping grill (?!!) and a cramped and overgrown pool deck.

House location was great for out annual beach trip with family and friends. Reality company was very responsive for issues with the ice machine and two broken deck chairs. Would have liked a better maintained pool deck (weeding, painting) and grill (the tiny charcoal camp grill on the side of the house was rough for a group of 15!).

What a wonderful house! The location - Nags Head and right on the beach - is perfect. Plenty of rooms, very well laid out and plenty of kitchen “stuff”. The Village Realty people were very attentive when we called about a couple of things. The pool / hot tub area could use a little TLC to remove the sand that has accumulated around it. That would also help with keeping sand out of pool, hot tub and the lower level of the house. This all said, we will book the house again in the future!

The house is great and in a great location! A few things were lacking or not 100% but it not being in season I can understand. The staff that helped with the booking and getting us in were fantastic!

We loved this beach house and we plan on coming back! The view was awesome and we enjoyed the hot tub! My only complaint is the bedding. Each bed was made with clean sheets but there were only a small thin blanket on top. We would have slept better if we brought our own top blankets. Other than that it was awesome!

Beautiful home with oceanviews, lots of room for multiple families. The house had plenty of entertainment for everyone, which included a pool table, outdoor pool, hot tub, games, and tvs in every room. I would highly recommend this place for multiple families.
The only complaint I had were the beds needed updating, atleast the king mattresses.
As a whole this house was exactly as describe.

We thought this was a great place and plan to rent it again next year. Very nice, great location on the beach, clean, comfortable, get big TV to watch the games, wonderful BRs and all was fine. Pool table was fun. Sauna was great!!

Can’t say enough good things about this beach house. We had a large group and plenty of space. All bunk beds are on the lower level, 4 rooms with queens/kings on middle level, and master and living area on top floor. The views were incredible; we spent a lot of time on the top deck. We literally saw hundreds of dolphins during our stay. Hot tub was awesome. Loved being right on the sand. The sunsets were incredible. We would absolutely stay here again.

I put 5 stars because it was heaven. I would get a new cleaning company because it was not very clean . multible dead bugs out in open and air filters and fans filthy. sabdy sheet. They weresuppose to be new and clean. owners can't help that the cleaning crew were not up to high standards. The property itself was paradise!!! what great views and sounds!!! even in hurricane so comforting. I would so rent this again!!! Angel of village is truly an angel. So polite,professional,and patient. highest acclimations

We have rented two or three of these houses for our triennial family reunion since the late 1990s and they fit our needs perfectly. They are reasonably priced and have the necessary amenities. Being on the beachfront is perfect and the beach nourishment project removed the pipes the first night we were here and so we had total access to the beach. We rent chairs, gas grills, surf boards, and paddle boards from Ocean Atlantic and they show up as expected. The kitchen is well equipped except it really really needs pot holders!

The location is fantastic and the house is HUGE! Loved having private beach access and lots of bathrooms for the family. The pool and hot tub were also amazing. The only issue was the cleanliness of the house when we arrived. The whole house was musty and the the bathrooms/kitchen/living area needed a cleaning by our family before we felt comfortable using them. The furniture and bedding also could use an upgrade/deep clean. We also called out a maintenance person (super friendly!!) to come replace the HVAC filter, as it was super dirty and might have contributed to the air in the house not feeling so fresh the first few days. Well be back, just with some cleaning supplies at the ready : )

The property was great. Like all rentals it has wear and tear and missing pieces but overall it was great. We did face a tropical storm the last three days but we weathered through!! Overall we had a fantastic time!!!!!
