NH09: Home Again

"Home Again" is a well maintained home in an excellent location. The children loved the beach, swimming pool, game room, and the theater room. The adults loved the floor layout, the nicely equipped kitchen, and the cleanliness.

Love this home!! We had shuffleboard tournaments, used the movie theater room, puzzled on the huge dining table and just had a wonderful time. As I don’t get down to the actual beach as much any more it would be terrific to have higher deck chairs to be able to see over the railing when enjoying the scenery. Third time in this home and can’t see us anywhere else! Thank you??

Thank you for a wonderful week for our family at "Home Again" The house met all of our expectations from the spacious bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, theater room, game room, pool and private access to the beach. Very clean residence!! Plenty to see within walking distance from this location. Our son hired a private chef, Tony Pentacoste from Duck, to prepare an evening dinner for our family (5stars) We will all carry a lot of memories away from our visit to the Outer Banks, NC

We loved our stay at Home Again! The house has everything you can imagine, want, or need. It was very clean and fit our group perfectly. I gave it a 5 stars because honestly we could not find one thing that wasn’t just right. It’s one of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in and we’ve been coming to the OBX for 43 years. The kitchen was very well stocked, spacious bedrooms with linens and towels provided, private bathrooms, patios/balconies had perfect seating for hanging out by the pool or watching the ocean. Built in sound system for indoor and outdoor, Double washer and dryer, vacuums on every floor, double dish washer, and one downstairs. We had a great week at Home Again. I can’t say enough positive things. Great location!!! The only thing that would have made it perfect, was if the elevator was accessible from outside so we didn’t have to carry groceries to the second floor to get to the elevator and maybe a cordless vacuum. Other than that, We loved our stay and made lots of memories! If you rent this property, you won’t be disappointed.

This was one of the nicest beach houses I have stayed at during my 30 years of going to the OBX, and it is definitely the best maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and organized, the beds and furniture were comfortable and in good shape. We had a chance to briefly meet the owners when we arrived, and the personal attention they give to the house shows.

We really like Home Again. The kitchen and game room are really well stocked. There are tons of games to play and lots of seating. The owner is always updating the property.

The property was very well supplied especially the kitchen. We enjoyed the extra grassy area to play lawn games and the gaming tables in the rec room were used every night.

Just about everything about this property was great. The only issue was the pool. I reported this in an email the other day. We were told the renters the week prior to us may have caused an issue with the cleanliness of the pool. It was just okay in the beginning of the week, but the condition of the pool worsened during the week. Other than that, things were great.

Words can`t describe the vacation that my extended family and I had at this wonderful beach house. This was by far the best house rental experience we ever had! The house is well appointed with furniture, housewares, electronics, and instructions that made our week stay so simple and pleasant. The pool, game room, hot tub, theater, and beach were used by all in our group! This house is so central to may of the OBX activities (grocery, dining, dunes, Wright Brothers, Manteo, Boddie Lighthouse, etc.). We can`t wait to come and book our next OBX vacation!!!

I`ve been renting houses in OBX for 30 yrs & this is by far one that checks all the boxes! The Layout, Kitchen, Ice Makers, Elevator, Movie Room & Supplies all perfect. Only suggestion might be to replace Trundle with 2 sets of bunks. Thank you for sharing your home with us and all the happy memories!

This was our 3rd year at NH09 and we love our time there so much that we are coming back next year. House is amazing and fits our family perfectly. Thanks to the owners for keeping the property up and stocking it with great amenities. Till next year.

Clean with everything we needed. Great location to beach. The house decor was amazing. We have been going to obx for over 20 years. This is the only house that nobody had a complaint about anything at all.

The home was beautiful and very spacious for our family of 12. The decor was lovely as well. The kitchen and bar area was stocked so well and not lacking in dishes, pans, silverware or appliances. The kids loved the game closet and we played several, as well as having tournaments in the recreation room. Several movies were watched in the theater room when it rained.

This is the 4th year we have stayed at Home Again and we just booked for 2023. This is the perfect house for our growing family. The kitchen is very well stocked and the two dishwashers and refrigerators are handy. Having a private pool for the younger kids makes their vacation really enjoyable. On the day it rained, we put the kids into the theater room to watch a video and they had a blast. The game room was great for the adults with the extra glasses, sink, fridge and ice maker. It was a straight shot from the bar in the game room to the outside bar. We had the opportunity to meet the owners this year. They said they have a schedule for maintenance for the next few years so I`m sure each year we return it will be better and better. I also thanked them for their yearly holiday card. This is a wonderful home and you will create lasting memories with your family. Book early because we lost the week we usually come but were able to snag the week before.

By far one our favorites at OBX! This spacious and luxurious home has a little bit of everything for your oceanfront enjoyment. Gorgeous views, ample entertainment and all the comforts of home. Highly recommend! A few minor issues: ovens, stove and dishwashers are flaky (inaccurate temp, slow warm up, etc), gas grill was rusted through and unsafe, entry is a split foyer so if truly need the elevator for wheelchair, etc this is not the house for you. It’s a great house and we hope to come back again!
