Description Description
New to the Village Realty program for 2025! The Salty Dog is a well-maintained oceanside retreat located in the Section O neighborhood of Ocean Sands, also known as Ocean Lake. Guests can take advantage of tennis courts located directly behind the house, along with a community pool just a short walk away. When it's time to hit the beach, use the neighborhood access on Ocean Front Arch, just a three-minute walk from the house. Pets are welcome at The Salty Dog, so even your fur babies can be included on the guest list.

Back at the house, the top level features an open-concept layout with effortless flow between the living, dining and kitchen areas. Vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows create a bright and airy space with abundant natural light. The living area leads out to an expansive sun deck for your daily dose of Vitamin D. When you're not trying out one of Corolla's fantastic restaurants, prepare meals at home in the fully stocked and well-equipped kitchen. The spacious suite on the top-level is attached to a semi-private bath. Four more bedrooms on the mid-level will comfortably accommodate family and friends.

For shopping and dining, take a three-minute drive north to Timbuck II Shopping Village, where you'll find favorites such as The Cotton Gin, The Cottage Shop and Gray's. The village also features some of Corolla's most popular restaurants including Mike Dianna's Grill Room and La Dolce Vita. After dinner, head over to Big Buck's for ice cream, followed by a round of mini golf and go carts.

Can’t stay an entire week? The Salty Dog is available for short stays with flexible arrival/departure options. For guests who like to plan ahead, partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance. Choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

This house was a short walk to the beach, pool and tennis courts. I could see the ocean from the living room and dining room! The house was very clean and the kitchen was suited our needs: well-stocked with dishes, pot and pans and utensils. Overall, we loved it. To make it even more spectacular: provide grill tools, fix Keurig (part missing). One thing to note: the top floor became extremely hot (temp set to 73, but actual temp crept up to as high as 81 degrees, outside air temp was 77 but humid), so we called for maintenance. They were responsive, but it was near the end of our stay, so I'm not sure if it was fixed. The sleeping floors were a steady, cool 73. It was great to have the ceiling fans upstairs and the ocean breeze helped cool things off. Under the house shower and hose to rinse off beach sand were handy. Some noise from construction and loud neighbors but not a huge deal. We will definitely try to get this house next time.

This place was great for a college reunion beach trip! My friends and I had plenty of space, lots of great balcony areas, and easy access to the beach and tennis courts (which we used a bunch)! Lots of parking space and very easy to access
