Welcome to Whispering Sound, a comfortably furnished and well-maintained condo in Pirates Cove with an open-concept layout and four bedrooms. Located on the second floor, Whispering Sound is a corner unit providing plenty of privacy and panoramic views. Both the living area and primary bedroom open up onto an expansive wrap-around terrace overlooking the sound. The building elevator makes unpacking luggage and groceries hassle-free.
The Pirates Cove community offers a variety of amenities, including an outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis, and volleyball court. The onsite restaurant Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar overlooks the marina and provides lunch, dinner, and a full-service bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Located right across the Washington Baum Bridge, you'll be just a short drive from the public beach accesses in Nags Head.
No pets allowed - pet free. No smoking/vaping. Fireplace not available for guest use.

Love Whispering Sound! Stayed in April for a girls weekend and had to come back for a fall week. Furniture in living room has been replaced since April and is wonderful! Website should be updated to reflect this change along with the new/additional deck furniture. I would recommend new mattresses or removing the foam mattress toppers. Otherwise, this condo is well maintained and a perfect location to enjoy a fantastic view, great amenities and proximity to restaurants and lots of places to visit/shop/whatever you want to do. This place was actually more beautiful than the photos suggest. It was immaculately clean with wonderful bedrooms, very comfortable furniture, lovely decorations, and great amenities. This was a wonderful unit in one of our favorite location for vacation. We usually rent through Pirates Cove Reality and this was easier because there was no check in necessary. The most well appointed kitchen in any rental I have ever stayed at. The view from the deck was delightful.- Posted: 4/6/2024

Beautiful home, fabulous views wish the weather had been better but still enjoyed our visit. Home is well stocked. Only issue is the dryer. Took forever to dry a small load of towels. Possibly needs vent cleaned?- Posted: 9/1/2023

Beautiful sunrise view over the channel with the wrap around deck. The space was quiet and peaceful which was perfect for our toddler nephew who needed daily naps and an early bedtime. There was plenty of space for the adults to hang out and have conversations in the indoor/outdoor living area while the little one was asleep. The keyless entrance made this unit ideal for the 6 adults coming in and out at different times. The location was great; it is close to the bridge to Nags Head for a quick drive to the beach, but on Manteo which was a quick drive to the aquarium, shops and things to do there (especially on rainy days). What a wonderful stay! The condo was absolutely beautiful with a great corner porch to enjoy early morning coffee and evening chats! The view was perfect. Loved watching the boats come and go. Spacious and well equipped with lots of windows. We love the closeness to Manteo and some local favorite restaurants on the bridge. Will definitely stay again!!- Posted: 4/23/2023
