The condo was exactly as described and accurate pictures. Very clean and comfortable. It was even decorated for fall. Loved it had a storm door so the wood door could remain open. Great views and lovely porch to have coffee on. Would definitely stay again.

Pearl of the Sound at Pirates Cove in Manteo NC was an incredible experience. The condo was one of the nicest places I ever stayed. The beds and linens were top class. The condo had all amenities as described. It was impeccably clean. The only down side was this is the second year we have stayed at Pirates Cove and both times the hot tub at the Community Pool was not working. Also I didn’t realize the tubs in both bathrooms are very high and it was an issue with my husband being able to get in and out. The condo would benefit from a walk in shower at least in one of the bathrooms. Thanks again for being excellent hosts.

We had a great stay on Manteo at this location, there was plenty of space and the view was outstanding! The host was quick to address an issue we had and communication was easy and prompt. My family and I had a wonderful trip!

We had a wonderful stay in May over Memorial Day weekend. Condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. The deck and views are beautiful. The only downfall was the tenants above were loud very early in the morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Pearl of the Sound was very nice, comfy, and had many creature comforts that were much appreciated. You can tell the owners thought through what would make the visitors feel at home. The sunrises were amazing from the balcony and from the front you could watch the sunsets, which were equally as nice. The only downside we had was the bed in the guest bedroom. It was very thin and uncomfortable. If a mattress topper were added, it would definitely improve it. Also if possible, in the description on the website to add the weight limitation for the top bunk. Our sleeping arrangements were based upon using the top bunk, but our son is slightly above that limit so we needed to crunch in more than expected. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the Pearl of the Sound. And we absolutely loved the artwork and decorations. Village Realty did an amazing job making sure we were able to get in touch with them and clearly communicating everything we might need to know in advance and during our stay!

Lovely water view..very equipped and comfortable condo..might be a leak in ceiling of hall bath shower area. Would suggest grab bars in shower.. Otherwise a really nice condo and would definitely come again.

Pirate’s Cove is a lovely gated community that offers many different rental options. Our condo was perfect for a girl’s week in Manteo. Condo was clean and well equipped. We spent a lot of time on the porch with a view of the water. Great place to walk and watch the boats. Good restaurant, pools, fitness center all within the community. Close to downtown Manteo, Nags Head and Cape Hatteras National Seasore. Location, location, location!

We are so happy we found this condo. Everything was perfect for our family vacation. We were able to have fun playing volleyball, tennis, swimming and at the park. Great views. Plus there was a restaurant there with amazing oyster shooters.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed condo. The view of the sound is gorgeous! The condo was very clean and nicely maintained. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and in a great location. We have been coming to the outer banks for over 25 years but have never stayed in Manteo. Very glad that we did. The only recommendation that I have for the management is to install some sort of blinds on the door in the master bedroom. There is no privacy if people are on the balcony. Totally not a dealbreaker though, and we would definitely return to this unit.

Overall, we felt the condo was the perfect size for us. Bedrooms were spacious and plenty of space for watching TV or cooking. Loved the patio overlooking the sound. This was our favorite place to hang out. Easy access to Manteo and Nags Head. Bedrooms weren't the most comfortable and the main bedroom needs some type of blinds over the door. Super bright in the morning with the sun coming up. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

We’ve been staying at Pirates Cove for years. We love everything about the property from the marina, to the security guards, recreation staff, to the pool, to the playground, to the well manicured landscaping. This condo was just icing on the cake. Would def book again. Loved it, and the view is to die for!

The keyless entry and checkout process was so easy. I only rented this property for a few nights, but would have loved to have stayed a whole week. The home was very enjoyable, clean and at a perfect location for spending time in The Outer Banks. Close to restaurants, shopping and site seeing activities. I would definitely love to have another vacation with this property as home base!!

We chose Manteo since it was in the middle of the Outer Banks. We loved exploring all the areas from Cape Hatteras to Corolla. Will be back but probably in the fall when it is warmer.

We loved this beautiful little condo, in a great location. We watched the sunrise each day from our excellent view of the sound and bridge to the outer banks. Easy access to Nags Head and to beautiful national seashore beaches. Roanoke Island also has lots of delights. The property was beautiful and perfect in every way. Our only concern: we ran into a problem with a large wetspot on the rug near the entry. It was past when I reported it, so I had to leave a message. Village Realty called back first thing in the morning and sent somebody out right away to take care of it. It could be a problem not being able to reach the property manager in the evening hours, but other than that, I would rate it a 5.0 and we would definitely come back again.
