RF10: Sunset Sanctuary

This was our first trip to Outer Banks, but definitely will not be our last! Everything about this trip was pure magic. From watching the sunset in the dunes, swimming at the beach club, walking the gorgeous beaches, to simply relaxing on the upper deck watching the sound & reading a good book. My husband loved fishing the sounds & the rest of our family loved taking in the perfect sunsets here as well. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect house to spend this perfect vacation. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us for the week. We may have only been here a week, but the memories will last a lifetime.

Absolutely beautiful home that was perfect for our family of 6’s vacation get away. Amazing view of the sound from the upper balcony. There was so much space for our family to spread out without the house feeling cluttered. Loved how spacious the kitchen was! I wish they would have left the address for the beach club, but the portal they use gave us the name and after that it was pretty easy to find. Had an issue getting logged in to the portal at first, but Village was quick to respond and fix. 5 min drive from multiple beach access spots and maybe a 5-10 min drive to the sand dunes. There’s a pond out back FULL of turtles and frogs that definitely get a little noisy at night , but we just turned on the TV at bed time at it didn’t bother us one bit. We’re already talking about possibly booking the same house again next year. If you’re on the fence , BOOK IT! This house was the cherry on top of a perfect OBX get away.

We loved how clean and comfortable the home is, very close to the beach and sound. Plenty of outdoor activities within minutes. The sunset view is spectacular

The property is beautiful and location convenient to stores, beach and restaurants. Needs more clarification as to how to get to community pool and shuttle. Village Beach Club was amazing, friendly staff and resort feel. Televisions in all rooms but no reception Would definitely return!

Property location was excellent beautiful views of the sunset over the sound. The property was spacious and have everything a family would need. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back next year. The property was close to restaurants, beaches and food stores. Our group enjoyed a wonderful vacation.

Gorgeous place in a peaceful location. House was neat and clean with lots of space and things to play e.g. ping pong, board games, Netflix, Roku etc. totally recommend it. Perfect and joyful experience ?

We enjoyed a perfect week of relaxation and family time. Thank you for opening your lovely home for us to enjoy. The sunsets were amazing and we loved the frog serenades and the covered deck. We spent hours and hours on that.

What a wonderful week! Beautiful house, wonderful weather, amazing sunsets and great golf. We are here for a family wedding at the "Links" We couldn`t have asked for a better pace to make our family memories.

We had a relaxing week, with the most perfect weather. Loved the view, we watched the sunset every night! Sad to be leaving today, but we had the best beach days, and good times paddle boarding and jet skiing. My family has come to OBX every summer and this new house did not disappoint. We will remember the memories. (the fries at the Village Beach Club are the BEST!!)

We had a great 2 week stay in Sunset Sanctuary. The rooms were very large, beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. Our kids loved all the games in the closet, the frogs on the deck and the many turtles out back. The adults loved the sunsets over the sound. Breathtaking! The location is great! Walked to Duck Donuts, close to many stores and the Village Beach club access is great! We cooked a lot. The kitchen is well appointed, however a many of the pots and pans are scorched. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

Beautiful home! Well appointed. It did take us until Thursday to finally figure out all the switches! We`ve been coming since 1976 and even lived here for 5 years. Love Nags Head so much. Thanks for having a lovely home to share!

Overall the house was wonderful. The location was great and the sunset views were marvelous. However, the shower in the master bathroom was very dirty and needs a thorough cleaning.
