SH223: Dragonfly

Wonderful Home in a beautiful neighborhood for a quick stroll to the beach. The dog blanket for the couch was a special touch. Kitchen beautiful and well-equipped. Older home that can use some bathroom upgrades soon but very clean. We didn’t realize the hot tub was not available though - so we could not use it (and the pool we figured was off season). Boards on the Decks could use some maintenance but great sitting and enjoying a beverage in the mornings and evenings.

We loved the house. We’ve stayed in that neighborhood for the last 3 years for our beach week. This house was perfect for our group and I hope to come again in 2025.

Dragonfly was awesome! The walk to the beach was minimal and very easy. Everything was great and as pictured. The property was clean and had lots of needed kitchen items.

We had an excellent week! The house is as shown with the exception of the minibar fridge/wine cooler in the basement. It was clean when we arrived and the pool/hot tub were also clean. There were plenty of plates, cups, bowls, utensils and cooking items available. We used both the coffee machine and Kurig during the week. There was a gate provided in the house that we used on the outside stairs/deck for the dog. Most of the reviews with negative comments/issues about the house have been fixed. There were a few areas of wood on the deck/pool that were loose but nothing really unsafe. I did use the App for check in and check out but nothing else. We could not figure out the surround sound in the great room upstairs but it was not an issue. All of the TVs with the exception of the double bunkbed room had Roku so we were able to watch whatever we wanted. The double bunkbed room has a TV in it but nothing is hooked up to it. I found the price to be very fair for the week we were there and I would recommend to anyone looking.

This is a nice house with very convenient access to the beach. We didnt have any major issues with the house or its features. Some things to note: 1)the bunk beds are metal and very squeaky. 2) The knives in the kitchen are very dull. 3) there is no Tupperware in the kitchen. This wouldve been helpful for storing leftovers. 4) it would be nice to have some plastic ware for kids. The tableware is nice but it was not kid-appropriate. 5) it might be helpful to have some carpet squares on the steps. They get very slippery especially after kids come in after the pool dripping wet. The beds, with the exception of the bunk beds, were comfortable. Overall, we had a nice time and had no major complaints with the house.

The Dragonfly provided a nice, peaceful environment for our family vacation. It had a majority of the amenities of home. The location of was in a neighborhood full of trees, which created a nice barrier from the surrounding homes. You could not see the ocean from the home, but it was an easy walk. Village Realty made the check-in and check-out process very easy.

We loved this house. The proximity to the beach was great. And I was really impressed with the amenities. Kitchen was well stocked (with even an electric griddle for the pancake maker in the group), lots of beach chairs and umbrellas, and a cool pulley system to carry items from the pool to the top floor. I loved how you could get to any level of the house from the outside using the deck stairs. Also, the pool got plenty of sun. It looked shady in the pictures, so we were pleasantly surprised about that. A great beach house for the week!
