Getting to the beach will be a breeze, with just a three minute walk to the nearby Mockingbird Lane beach access. Take a stroll along the neighborhood foot path and over the quaint bridge that crosses the pond to the Southern Shores community park. Everything else you'll need is just three miles south, where you'll find grocery and convenience stores, specialty shops and boutiques. Popular dining options include Rundown Cafe and Steamers Restaurant.
Need more space? Reserve SH26 "Periwinkle Beach" right next door, which features four bedrooms and a private saltwater pool. These two side-by-side homes are perfect for extended or multiple families.
Please note that this home is located near a retention pond that attracts wildlife, including fish, turtles, snakes and bugs.

Very cute cottage, perfect for my daughter, Grand dog & me. The layout was inviting. Beds were very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything that we needed (except that I couldn’t find the hairdryer until the day we left; it was on the closet floor tucked behind the ironing board. I moved it to one of the bathrooms where it belonged.) Very short walk to the beach which was beautiful. Be aware the “front” door is actually in the back & up the stairs at the end of the carport. We see the property has been sold & hope it will be available for rental with the new owner.- Posted: 2/1/2023
