We LOVE this house! It is so well appointed and such a great location! We love the pool and my husband, who likes to cook, LOVES the kitchen. This is the 2nd year that we have stayed here and it is just a wonderful place to spend beach time with family and friends!!

Pompano is a great place to stay. 16 of us stay comfortably at the house. Well stocked and great layout. We have stayed 2 years and have plans to go next year.

Our second spring stay and everything was wonderful! We enjoyed watching the dolphins play and the beautiful sunrises. Highly recommend making the trip to Carova Beach to see the wild horses-just incredible. Grits Grill-best breakfast, Blue Moon Grill-great lunch/dinner, and McGrath's Burger-Best Burger!

Sixth trip to OBX, first time to Pompano. Best house so far! 4 families, 16 people total. We all had a beautiful time. Had red flags on the beach due to Hurricane Idalia but still NO complaints. House itself is amazing, especially the kitchen. Pool area is very swag and very clean. I think our OBX group has found its "House".

It's been 8 years we've been coming to Pompano and as always its been great! Love all the improvements. Weather was perfect. Looking forward for another memorable week next year. The elevator is a must for our older parents.

We had an amazing time. The weather was perfect. The house was beautiful. There were 17 people on this stay, 4 families. The kitchen was great, loved the doubles in the kitchen. The view from the top deck was awesome. Watched dolphins swim every day. A very enjoyable stay.

Our rental home was absolutely beautiful. The owners spared no expense when it came to this house. Everything was spotless. We had a perfect and enjoyable week, 13 adults and plenty of room for all. Pool and hot tub were perfect!

The home was just what we needed! The oceanfront view was wonderful! My husband, our "chef", LOVED the kitchen and was thrilled that there were 2 of everything. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and comfortable!

This was our fourth year at this beautiful house. This house has everything you could want. The kitchen is amazing with its 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers, and 2 sinks! Big enough for multiple family members to get and prepare their food at the same time. They also have 2 washers and dryers! They have plenty of garbage cans too! The pool has a kiddie section which makes it perfect for our family. The deck had high chairs to take in the beautiful oven views. We will be returning next year once again and I cant wait!

The home is beautiful!! Everything you need is here the pool was beautiful the home is well maintained. The area is nice the Beautiful and convenient for shopping stores markets etc. Our family had a wonderful time and were looking forward to coming back next year at the same time.

We had our family yearly vacation and we loved the cottage. Very well stocked. Double fridge and double dishwasher was s plus.

This is our 8th year in a row staying at POMPANO (9th week since we stayed 2 weeks in 2021). We appreciate the many changes that we noticed this year. The improved Wi-Fi is the #1 appreciated improvement! It has been frustrating in prior years & we loved the ease of use & how easily it was to play music from Spotify to devices in the house. The cabana service at the beach was fantastic although a slightly larger gap between our tent and the one at Cobia would have been nice. The new refrigerators with filtered water & ice makers was a HUGE improvement. We also appreciate that the filter was up-to-date. We no longer needed to buy gallons of water at the market & were able to reduce the bags of ice we needed to buy. It was great to have the stairs leading to the gazebo replaced as they were warped with many popped nails the past few years. (having the gazebo and also the elevator is critical for my aging parents) We also appreciated the nice new grill and the re-covering of the pool table (looks great!). The large capacity washer/dryer on the third floor was also a plus. We created a service order with two items that were promptly addressed. Weatherstripping on the door was fixed and the exterior of the home was sprayed for cockroaches (the house does appear to have a cockroach problem that seems to get worse every year. We found a couple dead cockroaches inside and several live baby cockroaches on the decks). We did not like the trend of price increases especially this past year but we were happy to see the improvements made. Total rent was ~$13,000 when we first started renting this house and next year it will be ~$23,000 (excluding travel insurance). That is a pretty steep increase over just eight years. We were also disappointed that we were forced to commit and start paying for the 2024 season months before the 2023 season. Originally, we used to be able to put a down payment in July and now we are being required to pay 1/2 well over a year in advance. Repeat customer should be able to get first dibs on holding a house without having to make such a huge monetary commitment so far in advance. I have asked for flexible timing with my payments and Village Realty always responded positively. So really my only concerns would be the trends related to the cockroaches and overall cost.

Loved the cabana and chairs on the beach! We had acouple little mainenence issues and VR was here promptly.

The house was beautiful, well maintained and with great amenities. We loved the cabana bar and the chair/umbrella service. There were a few maintenance items requiring attention, but as soon as I placed the call the maintenance service came out the next day and addressed all the reported issues. This is the first time we stayed beachfront with our whole extended family and it was the perfect setting. The only drawback to this property was parking for the number of cars that we had. We had 7 cars but really only 3 of them were accessible without having to move others.

This is a very nice property which meets our needs. Well appointed kitchen.... Everything was very nice, pool was clean and heated this year from the beginning... thank you all. One thing needed to point out, the TV in the pool cabana only produces sound, no picture... would recommend the owner take it in during the Winter and then put it back out. Everything else was very nice. We will look to stay at this place again next year...just trying to get dates for Spring Break. Would love to stay there in the Summer, but too expensive. Owner might want to consider some new weather stripping around the doors, they " whistle" with the high winds we had.

My group of 9 gals just returned home after a fabulous week`s stay at Pompano. We booked this house because of the size, location and amenities. Wow, we were not disappointed! This house had everything as described and so much more. From cooking and preparing meals in the spacious kitchen filled with everything you would need, to relaxing in the living and dining rooms, to watching sunrises and sunsets on the many decks, to playing pool in the family room, to playing and relaxing in the huge pool everyday, to hopping into the nearby hot tub, to a quick walk to the beach via the private access walkway, to so much more! Oh, and I cannot forget the pool cabana with bathroom and fridge! That was huge benefit!! We could not have asked for more. When we return to OBX, this lovely house is definitely on our list!
