SN06: Cobia

Cobia is our favorite place. This was our 4th year renting this house. It has everything- enough space, gorgeous pool area, excellent outdoor showers, well-equipped kitchen. We loved the addition of a welcome basket and the Farmdog beach service this year.

Village Realty staff

The pool was green and unusable between Sunday and Monday evening. They did come and treat it and eventually got it right. The toaster right side does not work. Dishwashers did not clean well. Overall the house was perfect for our needs and we had a great vacation. For this price I do expect a $3500 credit for the items listed above.

We were very pleased with the overall condition and layout of Cobia! The kitchen was well equipped for a large group. The children and grandchildren loved the pool, hot tub and beach. Many thanks to the owner for taking such great care of their home.

We had an outstanding experience! The Cobia property was nearly pristine with a well stocked kitchen and all the amenities we wanted. It was a perfect week!

Cobia has been our home away from the home for 3 years now. Friends who are more like family- have enjoyed this house time and again! Anything it hadn't had we have gotten and wrote Cobia on- so we are hopeful that our crockpot-meat chopper-chicken foot game are here next year. There is nothing better than having your family and your friends together to have an amazing week! We love waking up to our ocean views, the laughter at night at the huge table, or the signing at the top of our lungs at the beach -the time to be away together has been a gift that keeps us coming back- we are grateful for the Cobia and the memories we have built!

Beautiful house, great view, well equipped. We have had a great week here. My sister's grandbabies ages (2 + 4) loved the pool with the Kiddie side. Just right for them. The kitchen table is the biggest I have ever seen. I never get tired of an ocean view. Hope to come back next year. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this house.

15 people no one under 30. Wonderful time swimming, fishing, hot tub, beach looking for lots of shells and tanning. Wonderful stay!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We enjoyed every day/night spent here. The house id beautiful, well equipped, especially the kitchen. The view from all floors are beath taking. We have been coming to the OBX for over 20 years and each year we were blessed to select the perfect house for our families. We try very hard to treat your home as if it was ours? This is our first time staying on S. Oregon Inlet Rd. We look forward to returning one week to revisit SN06 Cobia.

We survived Idalia. Great home, as we rented here in 2019 and loved it. Loved the pool bar, kitchen was very well equipped! We have been coming to the OBX for over 20 years and one of our favorite homes!!! Sad its rented for next year... We are from NJ-Cape May County and Atlantic City.

Village reality is great, I have been going to outer banks for years. We always had a problem with ever other company. This was our first time using village reality and it was great will be using them in the future for sure.

We have rented many many homes in Nags Head and this one may be our all-time favorite! This is our second year in a row at this house. It is incredibly well laid out, maintained, furnished and equipped. We love that all of the bedrooms have attached baths. And the hot water never runs out! The kitchen is amazing for preparing meals for large groups with 2 of every appliance and a HUGE pantry. The outdoor decks are awesome and we absolutely love the pool with a shallow area for the kids. Truly the only negative we can find is that the mattresses are not the greatest but its tolerable for a week! We cant wait to come back!

The house was perfect for our family of 20 kids and adults. Having 2 of all the appliances was amazing and the cabana service on the beach saved us so much time setting up and breaking down which gave us more time to enjoy the beach I will DEFINATELY be staying at Cobia again. We’ve been coming to the outer banks every other year for the past 12 years and have never wanted to stay in the same house until now.

This is our 4th year in the Cobia and Pompano homes. The set up is fantastic with a great kitchen and pantry. The pool and cabana are great for outdoor fun. The current year addition of chairs and the cabana set up on the beach are an added bonus. The owners take fantastic care of the home and it is well maintained. In a previous year, we enjoyed visiting with an owner who visited in Pompano next door and hearing about and enjoying his fishing adventures. Fresh tuna was fantastic and appreciated!

This home was exactly what our family needed and more than we expected! So much space for us to hang out in and a HUGE kitchen/living room to come together in the evenings. The beds were made, lots of towels, home was extremely clean and the kitchen had everything a chef could want. This was PERFECT!!! The only negative I have (and it is small one but needs to be noted) is that the dishwashers are not good. Be sure you pre-rinse everything as it is not the best at cleaning. Other than that small negative, there was not one negative in this beautiful home. Village Realty was wonderful to work with and helped me to find the perfect home when the rental I had booked 8 months ago fell through. I hope to return next year to this fabulous home!

What a great experience. We rented a beach front house with the most beautiful view. Watching the sun rise with a coffee in my hand over the ocean was incredible. The house was clean and had everything we needed other than groceries. The pool and hot tub were also clean and added an extra level of fun. We were originally going to take dogs and paid the fee and when we changed our mind they gave the dog fee back without question. We will definitely be doing this again with Village Realty. They made it a great first experience with renting a beach house. Worth every penny.
