Located at milepost 19.5 in South Nags Head, Gillespie Cottage is a mile south of the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and Fish Head's Bar and Grill, where you can order food and drinks on the oceanfront while listening to live music. Coquina Beach, part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and a favorite local spot for fishing and surfing, is a six-minute drive away. From there, explore Bodie Island Lighthouse or head south for a day trip to Ocracoke.

Great location and beautiful views.House was clean but underneath the house there was trash like a broken lounge chair and a couple more things that were left. Wasn’t a big issue though. House accommodated my family and myself well and had everything we needed. Would stay there again.

Short walk to beach

This home is so close to the beach. After climbing the dune, youre rewarded with a very short walk to the beach. We could have brought 4-5 more people with us, plenty of space so the 5 of us never felt ontop of each other.
