Salt Shaker is a terrific semi-oceanfront home that is well equipped for you and your family. Experience an amazing OBX sunrise from the top-level sun deck while enjoying your morning coffee and end your day with the breathtaking sunsets from the back deck. Nicely decorated & very well equipped, this home provides an outstanding location & plenty of space to spread out & relax. The convenient beach access across the street will make it easy to bask in the sun, swim, surf, take a walk along the beautiful shores of the South Nags Head beaches. After a day at the beach, you can relax in your own private pool or hot tub or take advantage of the South Creek Acres amenities and swim in the community pool or play a game of tennis. A spacious great room with a well-equipped kitchen with a double oven and dining space for 14 will make mealtime a pleasure. Indoor fun abounds at Salt Shaker where you can play pool, foosball or try out the video arcade games and then end with a favorite movie in the theatre room. With six en-suite bedrooms, everyone is sure to find the perfect place to relax after a fun and adventurous day.

Once the sun sets, the Bodie Island Lighthouse beacon will take you back to the maritime history of the area. Ideally located in quiet South Nags Head with easy access to areas north and south, including the Wright Brothers Memorial, Fish Heads Bar & Grill at the Outer Banks Fishing Pier, Jennette's Pier, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Pea Island, Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Manteo, and the outlets.

Salt Shaker is part of Village Realty's Signature Home Program. These hand-selected properties are meticulously maintained at the highest standards and provide guests with a luxury vacation experience. Complimentary cabana service is provided for all in-season reservations. Every day between Memorial Day and Labor Day (weather permitting), a crew will set up and break down six beach chairs and an umbrella at the June Street beach access. All you have to do is show up with snacks and beach toys!

Extremely comfortable home. The kitchen was very well equipped. The cabana service was awesome. It is one of the major reasons we have rented the same home next year. The Village Realty staff that we had contact with was very pleasant and helpful.

Our second Thanksgiving with all of our kids and grandkids in your wonderful cottage. It has everything someone could need and more-especially like the fully equipped kitchen for preparing our Thanksgiving meal, and a perfect location.

Every year we pick a place for our family to gather. This year it was OBX. We enjoyed your beautiful home and the only thing missing was sunshine and warmth! Coming from Michigan we are used to the unpredictable weather. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We have been coming to the outer banks for over 40 years, and the house is our favorite of all time! There is nothing we found change, except of course to stay longer. By the second day we were here we decided we were going to rent this again next year. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, If I had the money, I'd be making you an offer.

Our family loved this house. The house was very clean and was actually ready a couple of hours earlier than expected for our check in on Sunday. The kids loved watching the wildlife in the backyard, the pool and game room. The beach access was directly across the street and the beach was never overcrowded. The best part about our stay is the owners paid for cabana service, so a tent and six chairs were set up for us on the beach every day!!

Salt Shaker was clean, well equipped and ready 2 hours before normal checkin time. Village Realty responded quickly to our two efforts needing help. Great property. Only complaint is at checkin we noticed the 12 person kitchen table had a very sticky surface. Strange as the rest of the house was very clean.

This was our third year staying at Salt Shaker. We absolutely love it! Great location, short walk to the beach and perfect size house for our yearly vacation with family and friends. We see yearly upgrades and renovations each year we return and it's very much appreciated. The daily cabana and beach chairs was a nice surprise by the owners. A BIG THANK YOU from all of us!!

Beautiful Property! Our family had a wonderful time at the "Salt Shaker". Fully stocked kitchen, kids will love the movie theatre! Heated pool was much appreciated! Short walk to the beach, & even had two beach chairs there for use along with a beach wagon to transport your beach essentials to and from the home! You wont be disappointed with this home!!

We had lots of fun! My favorite part of the house was the theater room. I watched so many movies while there! Everyone loved playing pool, foos ball, and relaxing in the hot tub. Although it was chilly outside, I still swam in the pool. The beds were nice and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the shower had good water pressure. I was also surprised by the amount of kitchen utensils, pots and pans there were. Normally you rent a house and they only have a small amount of thinks use for cooking, but the kitchen was jam packed with everything you could need. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Our stay was great. The house was spectacular with beautiful sunset views. The beach was a short walk across the street. The house was very well equipped with full kitchen that had all the cookware available to cook large meals for a large group.The game room was a lot of fun and the movie theater was awesome!Heated pool and hot tub were very relaxing and the neighborhood was very peaceful.The house was close to shopping and many restaurants and entertainment. Our family enjoyed it and plans on returning soon.
